Summary AUXIN RESPONSE FACTORS (ARFs) regulate auxin‐mediated transcriptional activation/repression. They are encoded by a gene family in Arabidopsis, and each member is thought to play central role various developmental processes. We have characterized three arf2 mutant alleles, arf2‐6 , arf2‐7 arf2‐8 . The mutants exhibit pleiotropic phenotypes, including large, dark green rosette leaves, delayed flowering, thick long inflorescence, abnormal flower morphology sterility early formed...

Plants can be severely affected by salt stress. Since these are sessile organisms, they have developed different cellular responses to cope with this problem. Recently, it has been described that bZIP17 and bZIP60, two ER-located transcription factors, involved in the response On other hand, bZIP60 is also unfolded protein (UPR), a signaling pathway up-regulates expression of ER-chaperones. Coincidentally, stress produces up-regulation BiP, one main chaperones located organelle. Then,...

Acetobacter aceti and pasteurianus belong to acetic acid bacteria (AAB), associated with wine spoilage. The timely detection of AAB, thought essential for their control, is however challenging due the difficulties isolation. Thus, it would be advantageous detect them using molecular methods at all stages winemaking storage. In this paper, we analyzed wines, musts grapes 13 varieties grown in different regions Protected Geographical Indication Republic Moldova presence by real-time PCR...

ABSTRACT Our current study investigated the effects of exogenous ATP (adenosine triphosphate) on post‐harvest quality grape ( Vitis vinifera L.) fruits. The results demonstrated that treatment with effectively alleviated decreases in fruit firmness, total soluble solids (TSS), vitamin C content and protein harvested Furthermore, also significantly enhanced titratable acidity (TA) fruits after harvest. This was reflected by observations increased hardness, TSS content, 14.39%, 6.29%, 31.05%...

The unfolded protein response (UPR) is a signaling pathway that activated when the workload of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) surpassed. IRE1 sensor involved in triggering UPR and plays key role unconventional splicing an mRNA leading to formation transcription factor up-regulates genes play restoring homeostasis ER. In plants, bZIP60 substrate for IRE1; however, questions such as what dynamics fate proteins encoded by spliced unspliced forms mRNA, remain unanswered. present work, we analyzed...

Abstract Low temperatures, salinity, and drought cause significant crop losses. These conditions involve osmotic stress, triggering transcriptional remodeling, consequently, the restitution of cellular homeostasis growth recovery. Protein transcription factors regulate target genes, thereby mediating plant responses to stress. bZIP17 is a factor involved in salinity unfolded protein response. Because can also produce role response stress was assessed. Mannitol treatments induced transcript...

Acetic acid bacteria (AAB) are ubiquitous wine spoilage microorganisms causing significant economic damage to winemakers. Considering difficulties in their isolation through traditional microbiological methods, it would be advantageous detect them using molecular methods at all stages of winemaking and, thus, prevent spoilage. In this research, we analyzed wines, musts and grapes 13 varieties grown different regions the Republic Moldova. The DNA was extracted via PCR home-designed primers...

Brettanomyces bruxellensis yeasts cause wine spoilage by producing volatile phenol compounds with specific off-odors. Assessing the propagation of this species is challenging, especially for micro-wineries. Fungal contamination of maize fields with Fusarium species leads to yield loss and affects grain quality. In this investigation, three genotypes Ku123, RF7, MK01 at the silking, dough physiological maturity stage were analyzed for mixed F. verticillioides, oxysporum, F.avenaceum. Asymptomatic infection avenaceum was detected in all samples Ku123 some genotype RF7. The infected only oxysporum. PCR estimation number copies spp by serial dilutions demonstrated that is most susceptible infection.
