Surface contraction waves (SCWs) in oocytes and embryos lead to large-scale shape changes coupled cell cycle transitions are spatially coordinated with the axis. Here, we show that SCWs starfish oocyte generated by a traveling band of myosin II-driven cortical contractility. At front band, contractility is activated removal cdk1 inhibition RhoA/RhoA kinase/myosin II signaling module, while at rear, switched off negative feedback originating downstream RhoA kinase. The SCW's directionality...

Precise predictions are provided for the production of a $Z$ boson and $b$-jet in hadron-hadron collisions within framework perturbative QCD, at $\mathcal{O}({\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{s}^{3})$. To obtain these predictions, we perform first calculation hadronic scattering process involving direct flavored jet next-to-next-to-leading-order accuracy massless QCD extend techniques to also account impact finite heavy-quark mass effects. In gold-gold collisions of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) a perfect fluid quarks, sometimes called strongly interacting quark gluon plasma (sQGP) is created for an extremely short time. The time evolution this can be described by hydrodynamical models. After expansion and cooling, freeze-out happens hadrons are created. Their distribution reveals information about final state fluid. To investigate one needs to analyze penetrating probes, such as direct photon observables....

The production of lepton pairs at low invariant mass and finite transverse momentum resolves QCD dynamics the boundary between perturbative non-perturbative domains. We investigate impact NNLO corrections on these observables energies corresponding to BNL RHIC collider fixed-target experiments. Satisfactory convergence is observed in both cases. Only data are found be well-described by QCD, thus indicating importance effects lepton-pair distributions fixed target energies.
