For the practical application of next-generation Li metal batteries (LMBs), a anode with high safety and efficiency is essential. However, LMBs still suffer from problems caused by growth dendrites at anode. In this study, we introduce novel way that could dramatically suppress improve performance LMBs. A free-standing porous hollow carbon nanofiber embedded lithiophilic ZnO nanoparticles ([email protected]) fabricated using dual-nozzle electrospinning technique followed carbonization. The...

We synthesized three semicrystalline polymers (PTTBTBO, PDTBTBO, and P2FDTBTBO) by modulating the intra- intermolecular noncovalent Coulombic interactions investigated their photovoltaic characteristics under various light intensities. Low series (Rs) high shunt (Rsh) resistances are essential prerequisites for good device properties standard illumination (100 mW cm–2). Considering these factors, among polymers, PDTBTBO polymer solar cells (PSCs) exhibited most desirable characteristics,...

Interfacial degradation in perovskite solar cells is a critical issue affecting long-term stability for future commercialization. In particular, and an organic hole-transport layer (HTL) react easily when the device exposed to extreme operating conditions (heat, light, air). To prevent degradation, inorganic CuSCN HTL has emerged as alternative, yet interfacial reactivity still not clearly elucidated. Herein, Cu2O are coutilized form efficient stable HTL. While uniform film formation using...

Abstract Monolithic (single layer) glass‐ceramic restorations often fail from chipping and fracture. Using blunt indentation of a model flat porcelain‐like brittle layer bonded onto dentin‐like polymer support system, variety fatigue fracture modes has been identified analyzed: outer cone, inner median cracks developing in the near‐contact region at occlusal surface; radial internal cementation surface along loading axis. Our findings indicate that monolithic layers are vulnerable to both...

High power conversion efficiency and device stabilization are two major challenges for CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPbI3) perovskite solar cells to be commercialized. Herein, we demonstrate a diffusion-engineered synthesis method using MAI/ethanol dipping, compared it the conventional from MAI/iso-propanol. Diffusion of MAI/C2H5OH into PbCl2 film was observed more favorable than that MAI/C3H7OH. Facile ethanol highly-crystalline MAPbI3 with minimized impurities boosted 5.86% 9.51%. Simulation results of a metamaterial structure which uses cubic high dielectric resonators, periodically embedded in low background lattice, are presented. Cubic resonators have degenerate modes, imply that the TE and TM modes same resonant frequency. The proposed shows negative refractive index characteristics around resonance frequency since no plasmonic components involved, losses expected to be low.
