We report herein a single component Ir photoredox catalyst which is capable of catalyzing the hydrotrifluoromethylation terminal alkenes and Michael acceptors with sodium triflinate (Langlois reagent) in methanol under irradiation at room temperature. Various synthetically useful functional groups, including ester, amide, ether, aldehyde, sulfone, ketone aryl boronate, are well tolerated this reaction.
Abstract The thermal decomposition of Nafion N117 membrane, a typical perfluorosulfonic acid membrane that is widely used in various chemical technologies, was investigated this study. Structural identification thermolysis products water and methanol performed using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (LC/ESI-MS/MS). fluoride release studied an ion-chromatography system the stability characterized by thermogravimetric analysis. Notably, several types...
This study found that decabromodiphenyl ether (BDE 209) could be oxidized effectively by potassium permanganate (KMnO4) in sulfuric acid medium. A total of 15 intermediate oxidative products were detected. The reaction pathways proposed, which primarily included cleavage the bond to form pentabromophenol. Direct oxidation on benzene ring also played an important role because hydroxylated polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) produced during process. degradation occurred dramatically first...
Objective St John's wort, an extract of the medicinal plant Hypericum perforatum , is widely used as herbal antidepressant. Although ability wort to induce cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A4–mediated reaction has been well established, effect on CYP2C19 still not determined. Thus objective this study was determine impact pharmacokinetic profiles omeprazole and its metabolites. Methods Twelve healthy adult men (6 CYP2C19*1 / 4 CYP2C19*2 2 CYP2C19*3 ) were enrolled in a 2‐phase randomized crossover...
Methylation of anilines and aromatic imines has been achieved by using a heterogeneous Pt/C catalyst with formic acid in the presence hydrosilane reductant.
The use of numerous descriptors that are indicative molecular structure and topology is becoming more common in quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR). How to choose the adequate for QSAR studies important but difficult because there no absolute rules govern this choice. A variety variable selection techniques including stepwise, partial least squares/principal component analysis (PLS/PCA), neural network, evolutionary algorithm such as genetic have been applied problem....
Induction of cytochrome p450 isozymes is the major cause for clinical drug interactions St. John's wort. The relationships wort to isoforms have been fully investigated, but its effect on CYP2C19 lacking. Thus, aim present study was observe activity using CYP1A2 as a control. Twelve healthy adult men-6 extensive metabolizers (2C19(*)1/2C19(*)1) and 6 poor (4 2C19(*)2/2C19(*)2 2 2C19(*)2/2C19(*)3)-were enrolled in two-phase, randomized, crossover manner. All subjects took 300-mg tablet or...
