Abstract Trifolium resupinatum L., Fabaceae, aqueous methanol leaf extract was selected to mitigate some obesity-associated risk factors validate the possibility of further developing herbal drugs. Chromatography and spectrophotometric techniques verified 14 phenolics, five which were first isolated from plant identified as 6''- O -acetyl ononin, genistin, daidzin, sissotrin, astragalin. Further phytochemical characterization performed via liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-mass...

Cold and hot water soluble polysaccharides (CWP HWP) of Alectryon tomentosus were obtained from defatted powdered leaves samples, pre-extracted with 80% ethanol. The CWP HWP subjected to hydrolysis silylation followed by gas liquid chromatography (GLC) establish its monosaccharide composition. They found be rich in rhamnose, galactose, arabinose 16.99, 19.03, 9.71% versus 30.06, 13.14, 8.07% for HWP, respectively. evaluated their cytotoxic antimicrobial activity using SulphoRhodamine-B (SRB)...

Melilotus species (Fabaceae) have provided extensive anti-inflammatory traditional uses, and thus, they will continue to be among the major plant sources of possibly new drugs. In continuation our previous chemical biological studies on indicus (L.) messanensis (L.)., present work constructs a comparative evaluation both plants highlights their bioactive potential concerning components. The phenolic flavonoid contents aqueous methanol extract (AME) were estimated spectrophotometrically...

Abstract The repurposing of therapeutic and preventive strategies against Alzheimer's disease (AD) is progressing rapidly. Pancratium aegyptiacum has been found to possess considerable anticholinesterase potential attributed its alkaloid contents. In this study, the anti‐Alzheimer's activity isolated flavonoids from P. was investigated through computational analysis, focusing on rather than their well‐known alkaloids. Molecular docking performed three crucial targets involved in development...
