An ionic liquid (B4PBF₄) was synthesized and characterized using spectroscopic techniques, incorporating it in different proportions (0.25, 0.5, 1.5% w/w) into thin perovskite films. The results show that 1.5 % concentration significantly improves the optical properties by minimizing trap states preventing charge recombination. XPS analysis indicates a strong interaction between lead halides at this proportion. Additionally, photovoltaic devices fabricated with percentage achieved higher...
In this work, we report the fabrication of CuI@g-C3N4/MoS2 thin films by thermal evaporation Cu and their conversion into hybrid a simple wet chemical method. Compared to pure CuI, shows enhanced absorption near UV region, which improves its DC photoconductivity. The conductivity is addition g-C3N4/MoS2, distributed on surface CuI film. band gap red-shifts upon adding g-C3N4/MoS2. We evaluate material’s potential application as photodetector in photocatalysis evaluating photoelectrochemical...
In this work, microwave synthesis, chemical, optical and electrochemical characterization of three small organic molecules, TPA-TPD, TPA-PT-TPD TPA-TT-TPD with donor-acceptor structure their use in photovoltaic cells are reported. For the 5-(2-ethylhexyl)-4H-thieno[3,4-c]pyrrole-4,6(5H)-dione was used as electron withdrawing fragment while triphenylamine donating fragment. Molecular electronic geometry distribution density were established by functional theory (DFT) calculations confirmed...
Herein we report the synthesis of highly stable crystalline carbazole-based rotor 3 with simultaneous rapid solid state internal rotation and good fluorescence emission. Single crystal powder X-ray diffraction studies along microscopy revealed a phase transition from labile benzene solvate (phase I) to crystals II) that feature fast intramolecular in megahertz regime at room temperature, according variable temperature 2H NMR experiments using isotopically enriched analogues. In addition...
Induction of white light emission and chiroptical properties in 2D perovskites is achieved controlled through the incorporation chiral cations.
The incorporation of new quaternized theophylline and BF 4 additives in MAPbI 3 perovskite solar cells increases efficiency stability controlled humidity.
Water-soluble Carbon Quantum Dots (CQDs) featured with blue fluorescence were prepared by electrochemical synthesis at room temperature using carbon electrodes as a source and encapsulated in liposomes of DMPC (1,2-dimyristoyl-sn‑glycero-3-phosphocholine) single quick step. The system liposome-CQDs was characterized UV–vis absorption spectroscopy, microscopy, scanning electron Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy epifluorescence microscopy. Electrochemical studies, such cyclic voltammetry...
The Ir(III) compound TpMe2Ir[C(CO2Me)═C(CO2Me)C(CO2Me)═C(CO2Me)](OH2) (1) reacts thermally with aliphatic aldehydes RC(O)H (R = Me, tBu) to lead the decarbonylation products TpMe2Ir[C(CO2Me)═C(CO2Me)C(CO2Me)═C(CO2Me)](CO) (2) and RH. In turn, formaldehyde 1, yielding a product resulting from hydrogenation of one double bonds iridacycle. Theoretical calculations reveal role metallacycle as shuttle for transfer aldehyde H atom. Under photochemical (UV) irradiation, reaction becomes catalytic...
We report for the first time high sorption properties of a molecular rotor with no permanent voids or channels in its crystal structure. Such crystalline phase originates from THF, DCM, irreversible desolvation entrapped benzene molecules. From these, solvate form acts as rotation stopper, supported by dynamic characterization using solid-state 2H NMR experiments. In solvent-free form, diffusion small quantities iodine vapors caused significant change intramolecular rotation, increasing...
The fully CO2Me substituted aquo-iridacyclopentadiene 1 reacts with a variety of aromatic aldehydes, at 90–120 °C, the formation bicyclic Fischer-type carbenes, generated by transfer aldehydic H atom to an α carbon metallacycle and concomitant bonding O adjacent β carbon. These carbenes have thermodynamically favored anti configuration these C–H C–O bonds but it is proposed that unobserved syn carbene kinetic primary product, which then easily epimerizes adventitious water. Milder reaction...
Four low molecular weight compounds-three of them new, two with carbazole (Cz) as functional group and the other thienopyrroledione (TPD) group-were used emitting materials in organic light diodes (OLEDs). Devices were fabricated configuration ITO/PEDOT:PSS/emitting material/LiF/Al. The hole injector layer (HIL) sheet deposited by spin coating; LiF Al thermally evaporated. OLEDs based on derivatives show luminances up to 4130 cd/m², large current efficiencies about 20 cd/A and, cautiously, a...
Liquid-like dynamics of a covalent 1,4-phenylene rotator have been unveiled in 1 with brominated stator showing type-II halogen bonds. This singular rotation is favored by synergistic molecular changes stacked molecules, according to VT solid state NMR, 1H T1 relaxometry and X-ray experiments this highly crystalline compound.
In this work, the synthesis of BODIPY-phenyl-triazole labelled coumarins (BPhTCs) using a two-step approach is described. The influence BODIPY appending on photophysical, electrochemical and thermal properties phenyl-triazole-coumarin precursors (PhTCs) was investigated. Band gap energies were measured by absorption spectroscopy (2.20 ± 0.02 eV in solid 2.35 0.01 solution) cyclic voltammetry (2.10 0.05 eV). results are supported DFT calculations confirming presence lowest LUMO levels that...
A simple synthesis of an ionic liquid is carried out using a trialkylphosphine and alkyl halide. The results showed that the quality perovskite crystals enhanced by incorporation B4PI, when percentage 1.5% PCE champion PSCs MA98.5(B4PI)1.5PbI3 increases significantly from 15.5%, with V OC 0.957 mV, J SC 23.6 mA cm-2, FF 68.4%. Stability tests show excess B4PI 20% has protective effect against humidity, MA80(B4PI)20PbI3 was more stable towards losing only efficiency for 200 h.
