We extend the analysis of a physical model within standard cosmology that robustly predicts high star-formation efficiency (SFE) in massive galaxies at cosmic dawn due to feedback-free starbursts (FFBs). This implies an excess bright $z 10$ compared models based on low SFE later epochs, is indicated by JWST observations. Here we provide observable predictions galaxy properties analytic FFB scenario. These can be with simulations and use approximate as function redshift mass, assuming maximum...

Valerian is a medicinal herb that produces anxiolytic and sedative effects. It was suggested valerian acts via gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)ergic mechanisms. Previous studies showed binding of extract to GABA receptors, but the functional effect has not been demonstrated. In this study we evaluated GABAergic one its major constituents, valerenic acid, on brainstem neuronal activity in an vitro neonatal rat preparation. We first observed muscimol, GABA(A) receptor agonist, decreased firing...

ABSTRACT We study the effects of Kelvin–Helmholtz Instability (KHI) on cold streams that feed massive haloes at high redshift, generalizing our earlier results to include radiative cooling and heating from a UV background, using analytic models resolution idealized simulations. currently do not consider self-shielding, thermal conduction, or gravity. A key parameter in determining fate is ratio time turbulent mixing layer which forms between stream background following onset instability,...

ABSTRACT Recent advances in simulations and observations of galaxy clusters suggest that there exists a physical outer boundary massive cluster-size dark matter (DM) haloes. In this study, we evaluated antihyperglycemic effects of American ginseng berry extract in diabetic ob/ob mice. Animals received daily intraperitoneal (IP) injections the 150 mg/kg for 12 days. On days 5 and 12, extract-treated mice had significantly lower fasting blood glucose levels compared to day 0 (both p < 0.05). Glucose tolerance improved significantly, which was shown by overall excursion, calculated as area under curve (AUC) during two-hour IP test. The AUC decreased 31.8% on (p...
