Plasma-facing materials and components in a fusion reactor are the interface between plasma material part. The operational conditions this environment probably most challenging parameters for any material: high power loads large particle neutron fluxes simultaneously impinging at their surfaces. To realize tokamak or stellarator reactor, given proven geometries technological solutions, requires an improvement of thermo-mechanical capabilities currently available materials. In its first part...
Electro-optical switching with low voltage, free hysteresis and fast response speed is achieved in a facile manner by dispersing small amount of ferroelectric nanoparticles (NPs) into blue phase liquid crystal. The large dipole moment NPs contributes to the hysteresis-free switching, whereas voltage operation results from introduction properties inherent NPs.
The distribution of acoustic streaming outside the tube in a planar standing wave field is calculated by numerical simulation using an elliptical heat exchanger at low-temperature heating surface 600 MW unit as example. study discusses impact angle attack (AOA), Strouhal number (St0), and Reynolds (Re0) on external characteristics from structural, intensity, scale perspectives. results indicate that strong nonlinearity second-order Stokes boundary layer driven first-order field. As AOA...
