Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most prevalent form of nonscarring alopecia, characterized by a distinct pattern gradual hair loss. Despite its non-lethal nature, AGA can exert profound psychosocial impact, particularly on women and younger men, affecting their quality life. Standard therapeutic approaches for commonly involve use finasteride minoxidil; however, these treatments are often associated with adverse side effects, prolonged use. In this study, we present successful management...

In continuation of our efforts to identify novel herbicide lead compounds with enhanced activity, a series eighteen 5-acylbarbituric acid derivatives containing pyrimidinedione moiety were designed and synthesized. Their herbicidal activities subsequently evaluated in the greenhouse. Bioassay results demonstrated that most newly synthesized exhibited significant efficacy at dosage 150 g ha−1, BA-I-2, BA-II-2, BA-III-2, BA-III-5 achieving complete inhibition tested weeds. Further...

Abstract The vaccine is a premier healthcare intervention strategy in the battle against infectious infections. However, development and production of vaccines present challenges terms complexity, cost, time consumption. Alternative methodologies, such as nonthermal plasma plant‐based technologies, have emerged potential alternatives for conventional manufacturing processes. While plasma‐based approaches offer rapid efficient pathogen inactivation method devoid harsh reagents, techniques...

The pentose phosphate pathway (PPP) is the most common in cancer cells and stimulates antioxidant defense mechanisms synthesis of biomolecule precursors. It believed that persistently ameliorate glucose flux into PPP to maintain their anabolic requirements adjust oxidative stress. TCGA analyses have indicated upregulation enzymes involved lung cancer. Hence, present study aimed determine whether pharmacological blockade 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD), primary rate-limiting enzyme PPP,...

Microneedles (MNs) are a new system of effective drug delivery that create micron-sized pathways to the epidermis or upper dermis regions skin. In this study, we developed coated-type microneedles for direct hispidin Hispidin is well-known plant-derived antioxidant component showing antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antiangiogenic, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, and immunomodulatory activities. Polymeric blends polylactic acid (PLA) polycaprolactone (PCL) were casted as...

Carcinogenesis is a major concern that severely affects the human population. Owing to persistent demand for novel therapies treat and prohibit this lethal disease, research interest among scientists drawing its huge focus toward natural products, as they have minimum toxicity comparable with existing treatment methods. The plants produce secondary metabolites, which are known anticancer potential clinical drug development. Furthermore, use of nanocarriers could boost solubility stability...

In recent decades, the use of plants as a natural remedy has been widely applied in traditional medicine and treatment various diseases, including cancer. However, order to confirm potential benefits anticancer drug development from sources, in-depth screening assessments are necessary. present study, we aimed evaluate cytotoxic effects eight medicinal against breast carcinoma hepatocellular cell lines. Remarkably, among all tested plant extracts, Pyracantha angustifolia Paullinia cupana...

The advanced glycation endproducts receptor (AGE-R) is a signal transduction for multiligand such as S100b and AGEs. has been demonstrated to activate various cells with important links atherosclerosis initiation progression including endothelial cells, smooth muscle via AGE-R, triggering activation of multiple signaling cascades through its cytoplasmic domain. Many studies have suggested AGE-R might even participate in the cardiovascular complications involved pathogenesis type I diabetes....
