Summary The capability to maintain cell wall integrity is critical for plants adapt unfavourable conditions. l ‐Arabinose (Ara) a constituent of several polysaccharides and many wall‐localised glycoproteins, but so far the contribution Ara metabolism abiotic stress tolerance still poorly understood. Here, we report that mutations in MUR 4 (also known as HSR 8 ) gene, which required biosynthesis UDP ‐Ara p Arabidopsis, led reduced root elongation under high concentrations NaCl, KC l, Na NO 3...

Transcriptional divergence of duplicated genes after whole genome duplication (WGD) has been described in many plant lineages and is often associated with subgenome dominance, a genome-wide mechanism. However, it unknown what underlies the transcriptional polyploid species that lack dominance. Soybean paleotetraploid WGD occurred 5 to 13 Mya. Approximately 50% retained from this exhibit divergence. We developed accessible chromatin region (ACR) datasets leaf, flower, seed tissues using...

We report a microwave-assisted solvothermal method for the preparation of AlOOH hierarchically nanostructured microspheres constructed by nanosheets. The formation mechanism is discussed. γ-Al2O3 are obtained heating to 500 °C in air, and morphology well preserved during thermal transformation process. products characterized X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning microscopy.

Abstract Background Anthocyanins are the most important compounds for nutritional quality and economic values of blood orange. However, there few reports on pre-harvest treatment accelerating accumulation anthocyanins in postharvest orange fruit. Here, we performed a comparative transcriptome metabolomics analysis to elucidate underlying mechanism involved seasonal drought (SD) during fruit expansion stage anthocyanin ‘Tarocco’ Results Our results showed that SD slowed down enlargement...

slPHB3 was cloned from Salix linearistipularis, the amino acid sequence blast and phylogenetic tree analysis showed that has most similarity with PHB3 Populus trichocarpa using DNAMAN software MEGA7 software. RT-qPCR results confirmed expression of induced obviously under stress treatments. The growth recombinant yeast cells better than control group treatment, indicating may be involved in response cells. transgenic tobacco treated different concentrations NaCl, NaHCO3 H2O2, fresh weigh...

Inactivation of glutathione S-transferase pi 1 (GSTP1) via hypermethylation is an early and common event in prostate carcinogenesis. Functional inactivation GSTP1 increases the susceptibility to oxidative stress enhance progression risk prostatic carcinoma. In this study, we hypothesized that Piwi-interacting RNA (piRNA) could be a sequence-recognition guidance molecule for induction promoter methylation facilitating We found piR-31470 was highly expressed cancer cells, bind piwi-like...
