We report the evolution of magnetic field and its energy in NOAA active region 11158 over 5 days based on a vector magnetogram series from Helioseismic Magnetic Imager (HMI) board Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO). Fast flux emergence strong shearing motion led to quadrupolar sunspot complex that produced several major eruptions, including first X-class flare Cycle 24. Extrapolated non-linear force-free coronal fields show substantial electric current free increase during early near low-lying...

Where particle acceleration and plasma heating take place in relation to magnetic reconnection is a fundamental question for solar flares. We report analysis of an M7.7 flare on 2012 July 19 observed by SDO/AIA RHESSI. Bi-directional outflows forms plasmoid ejections contracting cusp-shaped loops originate between erupting flux rope underlying at speeds typically 200-300 km/s up 1050 km/s. These are associated with spatially separated double coronal X-ray sources centroid separation...

Sepsis, a widely recognized disease, is characterized by multiple pathogen infections. Therefore, it imperative to develop methods that can efficiently identify and neutralize species. Phage cocktail therapy utilizes the host specificity of phages adapt infect resistant bacteria. However, its low sterilization stability efficiency lack imaging units seriously restrict application. Here, novel strategy combining aggregation-induced emission photosensitizer (AIE-PS) TBTCP-PMB with through...

Aqueous microsupercapacitors (AMSCs) with safe and low-cost are anticipated as a leading choice for micro energy storage devices. Nevertheless, the current issue AMSCs is their extremely low area density power density, which caused by strong interaction between metal ions well stacking properties of thick electrodes. Herein, we develop based on tailoring mechanism NH4+/H+ co-adsorption into hydroxylated Ti3C2 MXene (h-Ti3C2 MXene). This enhances adsorption kinetics electrode materials. The...

We report one of several homologous non-radial eruptions from NOAA active region (AR) 11158 that are strongly modulated by the local magnetic field as observed with Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO). A small bipole emerged in sunspot complex and subsequently created a quadrupolar flux system. Non-linear force-free (NLFFF) extrapolation vector magnetograms reveals its energetic nature: fast-shearing accumulated ~2e31 erg free energy (10% AR total) over just day despite relatively (5% total)....

Abstract Dental caries is among the most prevalent dental diseases globally, which arises from formation of microbial biofilm on teeth. Besides, tooth whitening represents one fastest‐growing areas cosmetic dentistry. It will thus be great if eradication can combined with whitening. Herein, a highly efficient photodynamic therapy strategy reported for and discoloration by employing photosensitizer (DTTPB) aggregation‐induced emission characteristics. DTTPB efficiently inactivate S. mutans ,...

Microorganisms and cancer have always been the fierce enemies of human beings, but traditional methods treating them still many defects. Therefore, it is extremely important to develop rapid, effective safe treatments. Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) has attracted much attention because its advantages non-invasive, non-drug tolerance, high selectivity low toxicity. As a result, more scientists are committed developing better photosensitizers enhance efficiency PDT in therapy microorganisms as...

We report the first detection of >100 MeV gamma rays associated with a behind-the-limb solar flare, which presents unique opportunity to probe underlying physics high-energy flare emission and particle acceleration. On 2013 October 11 GOES M1.5 class occurred ~ 9.9 degrees behind limb as observed by STEREO-B. RHESSI hard X-ray above limb, most likely from loop-top, footpoints were occulted. Surprisingly, Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT) detected gamma-rays for ~30 minutes energies up GeV....

Abstract High‐safety potassium‐ion batteries (HPIBs) are highly intriguing owing to their green energy, low cost, high voltage, noncombustible, and simple assembly. However, most high‐voltage HPIBs use water‐in‐salt electrolytes (WISE), which lead several problems, such as a viscosity, significantly reduces the performance increases cost of HPIBs, thus impeding development. Unfortunately, studies regarding HPIB remain limited, further limiting development HPIBs. Herein, co‐solvent...
