Human herpesvirus 6B (HHV-6B) is the causative agent for exanthem subitum. HHV-6B was associated with mesial temporal sclerosis (MTS), leading to lobe epilepsy (MTLE). In this study, we sought elucidate pathogenic role of in patients MTLE.Seventy-five intractable MTLE patients, including 52 MTS and 23 non-MTS were enrolled study. This study was conducted to assess the transmissibility of rotavirus vaccine strains after vaccination in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).Pentavalent (RV5) or monovalent (RV1) administered infants admitted NICU. Nineteen vaccinated and 49 unvaccinated whose beds were located close proximity enrolled this study. Dissemination fecal shedding viruses within NICU examined using real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.Shedding strain detected all 19 infants. RV5 virus...

Sequences homologous to human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) are integrated within the nuclear genome of about 1% humans, but it is not clear how this came about. It also uncertain whether HHV-6 can reactivate into an infectious virus. integrates telomeres, and has recently been associated with polymorphisms affecting MOV10L1. MOV10L1 located on subtelomere chromosome 22q (chr22q) required make PIWI-interacting RNAs (piRNAs). As piRNAs block germline integration transposons, piRNA-mediated repression...
