Characterizations of gamma and negative binomial distributions are presented by using the conditional expectation. A necessary sufficient condition is given in terms failure rate for each distribution. To illustrate usefulness results, authors discuss mean residual-life distribution.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
Shear-wave splitting is a phenomenon that has received lot of attention primarily because its connection with vertically aligned cracks or fractures within reservoirs. However, in most cases the largest amount shear-wave observed to occur near-surface layers where rocks are least consolidated, and so likely be stiff enough support cracks. Ironically, we have during processing many multicomponent data sets western Canada amounts an area expect see it— highly unconsolidated sediments comprise...
Peste des petits ruminants (PPR) is a highly infectious disease that mainly infects small ruminants. To date, PPR has been confirmed in more than 70 countries. In China, occurred 20 provinces and cities. this study, based on geographic information system (GIS), spatial analysis was used to examine the occurrence of China from 2007 2018. The results showed first Tibet gradually spread other provinces. outbreaks were concentrated 2014, 2015 Combining climate factors with maximum entropy...
Purpose This paper aims to focus the synchronous chemical conversion technology–based titanium/zirconium composite on 6061, 7075 aluminum alloys and galvanized steel. Design/methodology/approach The effects of pH, temperature, reaction time other process parameters corrosion resistance three metal surface coatings were investigated by copper sulfate drop electrochemical performance tests under a certain content H2TiF6 H2ZrF6. morphology element distribution coating analyzed scanning electron...
This paper aimed to develop synchronous chemical conversion coating on multi-metal substrates with good corrosion resistance meet the primer process of new energy light vehicle bodies. Titanium/zirconium-based coatings were prepared 6061 aluminum alloy/7075 alloy/galvanized steel substrates. By measuring open circuit potential (OCP), formation a muti-metal can be roughly divided into three steps. Potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques...
Shear‐wave anisotropy in the Quaternary and upper Cretaceous section can be significant over heavy‐oil reservoirs Alberta. Compensation for overburden shear‐wave splitting improves PS data used reservoir characterization of deeper targets. We illustrate both analysis compensation a recently acquired 3‐C dataset. The correction is applied using layer‐stripping approach to distinguish effects from possible reservoir‐level anisotropy.

A high-effort, multicomponent 3C3D seismic data set was acquired over a mature oil field in central Alberta order to better understand the characteristics of waterflood operation. True-amplitude processing undertaken, and joint PP-PS prestack impedance inversion reveals pronounced anomalous low-impedance lineaments at target level which exhibit very strong spatial correlation with known water injector locations. Rock physics modeling demonstrates that fluid pressure effects are heavily...
Abstract Obtaining channel status information (CSI) is one of the main problems intelligent reflective surface (IRS) assisted communication system. This because IRS has only a large number passive components and cannot process signals. In this paper, we aim to estimate downlink multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) time division duplex (TDD) mode, estimated according uplink pilot by using reciprocity. We propose parallel factor analysis based on projection subspace...
Abstract Multi-spar composite boxes (MSCB) are common elements in structural design due to their high load capacity different loading conditions. This paper presents an experimental and numerical investigation of the failure behavior MSCB subjected a combined bending-shearing load. Quadratic criteria mixed-mode strain energy release rate used predict onset propagation damage at inter-laminar interfaces MSCB, which was implemented into Abaqus/Explicit analysis via user-defined material...
Due to the fact that parameter estimation method of traditional second-order statistics fails under alpha-stable distribution noise, this paper proposes a two-parameter joint algorithm based on an optimized search strategy and generalized cyclic correlation spectrum (CCS). At same time, type normalized compression function which is similar "S" designed in because its ability suppress impulse noise. Firstly, cursory carrier frequency obtained by improved domain centering Welch, two thresholds...
