Fabricating SiC matrix with controllable Si/C ratio for C/C-SiC composites via precursor infiltration and pyrolysis is difficult to realize due the absence of suitable precursors. Here, precursors Si-rich (Si/C=1.23), near-stoichimetric (Si/C=1.01) C-rich (Si/C=0.88) pyrolyzed ceramics at 1200 °C were successfully synthesized by novel modification polymethysilane. The structure ceramization studied, similar in also fabricated. results revealed that defects Young's modulus thermal residual...

In this work, a silane coupling agent was used for surface modification of native nano-sized silicon nitride (Si3N4) powder. According to the spectra FT-IR and TGA, it can be inferred that covalently bonds on nano-Si3N4 particles an organic coating layer formed. The free energy experiments showed hydrophobic property modified with improved obviously. Analysis nanoparticle size TEM revealed possessed good dispersibility average diameter less than 100 nm.

In this work, based on the sol–gel and titration technology, an innovative method to prepare yttria stabilized ZrO2–Al2O3 composite beads which can greatly improve bead properties is proposed. Using method, samples with different proportion of alumina component were prepared tested. The density results show that ceramic very close theoretical value, implies new high compactness without containing pores. Vickers hardness higher than zirconia alumina. SEM analyses average grain size about 180...

The corrosion behavior of pressureless-sintered SiC in a molten NaCl-KCl-MgCl2 salt at 700 °C was investigated. Results indicate that it is prior for and sintering aid B around grain boundaries to be corroded. MgCl2 · xH2O (x = 4, 6) the plays an important role SiC. hydrolyzed HCl, H2O, MgO, which react with form C, SiO2, SiCl4, B2O3, Mg2SiO4. depth concentrations elements Si increase time, are fitted well Fick’s law diffusion.

In this work, based on the sol–gel titration technology, method to prepare composite beads with different diameters which range from 0.1 0.8 mm is researched. The detail studies preparation conditions include sol viscosity, specific gravity and size of discharge needle are proposed. relationships between final diameter prepared obtained. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) test results show that have uniform good sphericity. surface grains basically similar cross-section grains. No obvious...

Abstract In this work, based on the wet titration technology, an innovative method to prepare ZrO 2 -Al O 3 composite beads which can greatly improve bead properties is proposed. Using process, samples with different proportions of alumina component were prepared and tested. The bulk density test results show that new high compactness without containing pores. hardness higher than zirconia adding alumina. SEM analyses average grain size about 180 nm, much smaller by conventional rolling...
