Meningiomas are the most common primary intracranial tumor. Seizures sequelae of meningioma development. Meningioma patients with seizures can be effectively treated resection, reports seizure freedom 60%-90%. Still, many manifest persistent epilepsy. Determining factors associated worsened outcomes remains critical in improving quality life for these patients. The authors sought to identify clinical, radiological, and histological worse supratentorial preoperative seizures.

OBJECTIVE Intracranial arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are a common cause of intracranial hemorrhage in children. Exploring outcomes treatment and factors that predict recurrence may help guide the management pediatric AVMs. In this study, authors review single-center experience with AVMs, aiming to identify contributing areas for improvement treatment. METHODS A retrospective patients ages 0–18 years AVMs period from 2005 2018 was conducted. Demographic, clinical, radiographic data were...

INTRODUCTION: Meningiomas are the most common primary intracranial tumor. We sought to identify clinical drivers of different molecular changes in meningioma. As such, and genomic consequences smoking patients with meningiomas remain unexplored. METHODS: 88 tumor samples were analyzed. Whole exome sequencing (WES) was used assess somatic mutation burden. RNA data differentially expressed genes (DEG) sets (GSEA). RESULTS: Fifty-seven had no history smoking, thirty-one ever smoking. Smokers...

Abstract Patients suspected of secondary CNS lymphoma (SCNSL) often undergo brain biopsies. Recent studies doubt biopsy utility due to high SCNSL diagnosis rates. We sought enumerate histopathologic results in patients evaluate biopsy. furthermore assess clinical and radiographic factors based on ability distinguishing from non-SCNSL. 109 with non-CNS who subsequently presented lesions that underwent at MD Anderson Cancer Center were included. Histopathologic diagnoses obtained....
