Abstract Continuous and effective hydrogen evolution under high current densities remains a challenge for water electrolysis owing to the rapid performance degradation continuous large-current operation. In this study, theoretical calculations, operando Raman spectroscopy, CO stripping experiments confirm that Ru nanocrystals have resistance against deactivation because of synergistic adsorption OH intermediates (OH ad ) on single atoms. Based conceptual model, we design Ni atoms modifying...

Ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma (HGSC) is typically diagnosed at an advanced stage, with multiple genetically heterogeneous clones existing in the tumors long before therapeutic intervention. Herein we integrate clonal composition and topology using whole-genome sequencing data from 510 samples of 148 patients HGSC prospective, longitudinal, multiregion DECIDER study. Our results reveal three evolutionary states, which have distinct features genomics, pathways, morphological phenotypes,...

Abstract 2D MXenes have attracted wide attention due to their unique chemical and physical properties. However, MXene nanosheets suffer from restacking are susceptible oxidation consequently lose functional properties which limits applications. Thus, it is desirable explore strategies preserve avoid oxidation. Herein, an effective strategy produce MXene‐based conjugated microporous polymers (M‐CMPs) by covalently sandwiching between CMPs using p‐iodophenyl functionalized as templates...

D-phenothrin is one of the most popular pyrethroid insecticides for its broad spectrum and high insecticidal activity. However, continuous use has resulted in serious environmental contamination raised public concern about impact on human health. Biodegradation never been investigated metabolic behaviors remain unknown. Here, a novel bacterial strain P31 was isolated from active sludge, which completely degraded (100%) at 50 mg·L-1 72 h. Based morphology, 16S rRNA gene Biolog tests,...

Abstract Given the pronounced dissolution of electrocatalysts in acidic environments, quest for effective oxygen evolution reaction (OER) suitable proton exchange membrane (PEM) water electrolyzers persists as a formidable challenge. In this investigation, catalysts are synthesized by creating vacancies within various metal oxides (Nb 2 O 5‐x , Ta ZrO 2‐x TiO ) through plasma‐assisted method, thereby facilitating immobilization IrO onto these defect‐rich surfaces. The findings unveil that...

The mammalian circadian clock and the cell cycle are two major biological oscillators whose coupling influences fate decisions. In present study, we use a model-driven experimental approach to investigate interplay between components dysregulatory effects of RAS on this coupled system. particular, focus Ink4a/Arf locus as one bridging clock-cell elements. Upon perturbations by rat sarcoma viral oncogene (RAS), differential phenotype were observed in wild-type knock-out mouse embryonic...

Substantial progress has been made in understanding ovarian cancer at the molecular and cellular level. Significant improvement 5-year survival achieved through cytoreductive surgery, combination platinum-based chemotherapy, more effective treatment of recurrent cancer, there are now than 280,000 survivors United States. Despite these advances, long-term late-stage disease improved little over last 4 decades. Poor outcomes relate, part, to late stage initial diagnosis, intrinsic drug...
