Abstract The phase transition in a copolymer of 55% vinylidene fluoride and 45% trifluoroethylene near 70°C has been investigated by measuring the temperature dependence fundamental properties. remanent polarization disappeared 70°C. dielectric relaxation strength showed peak indicating an anomaly time critical slowing down phenomenon. A change crystal lattice spacing associated with strain anomalous specific heat were observed. These results are consistent ferroelectric transition....

The measurement of the temperature dependence elastic, dielectric, and piezoelectric constants for film 55/45% VDF-TrFE copolymer suggests that Curie exists at about 70 °C. lattice spacing sharply changes a range from 55 to 75 remanent polarization is also determined D versus E hysteresis loop below It found spontaneous strain in crystal linearly related square polarization. transition ascribed electrostriction due dipolar orientation.

Ferroelectric switching characteristics have been measured in the 65/35-mol % copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and trifluoroethylene by applying a step-function high electric field up to 100 MV/m at temperatures between −80 90 °C. The amount reversed polarization is 160 mC/m2 being independent applied temperature. time τs follows an exponential law with activation ranging from 0.8 1.8 GV/m. Extrapolation infinite yields ∼1 nsec. Observed transients were fitted function, 1−exp[−(t/τs)n]. It...

The biocontrol agent Pythium oligandrum produces glycoprotein elicitor in the cell wall fraction, designated CWP, and induces resistance to a broad range of pathogens. To understand mechanism CWP-induced pathogens, gene expression at early stage CWP treatment tomato roots was analyzed using cDNA array. At 4 h after treatment, 144 genes were up-regulated 99 down-regulated. In genes, nine exhibited about eightfold increased expression. Analysis response these three commercial plant activators...

We found that the specific heat becomes a frequency-dependent complex quantity at and around two first-order phase transition points of n-hexatriacontane $(n\ensuremath{-}{\mathrm{C}}_{36}{\mathrm{H}}_{74}).$ One is rotator point, other melting point. The dynamic was measured by using temperature-modulated calorimetry in low-frequency range $0.0003<~f/\mathrm{Hz}<~0.05.$ frequency sufficient to discuss dispersion heat. can be described Debye relaxation. relaxation parameters show...

Although the liver is a regenerating organ, excessive loss of volume (LV) can cause fatal failure. It unclear whether LV correlated with age; however, it known that function decreases age. In addition, gender-related role remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate changes in by age and gender. Between January December 2018, 374 consecutive patients who underwent abdominal multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) for any examinations were enrolled. was evaluated using MDCT. The...

To this oscillator, both high frequency stability and wide trim range required. One of solutions is to use flat wafer, which 10 MHz, 20 etc. units. Because thickness AT-cut blank about 10-micron meter, realize make such thin blank, it necessary review method wafer. Also study protection against external shock. However, it has been reported that malignant capacities tumor cells can be increased in those tumors survive radiotherapy. Here, we constructed radiation‐ surviving (IR cells) by using human breast cancer cell line MCF7, manner our previous report. We focused on angiogenesis IR cells, because highly associated with unfavorable patient prognosistic criteria, such as metastasis and relapse. To analyze performed a...
