A new linearity optimization (LO) technique is proposed to improve the input third-order intercept point (IIP3) of wideband noise-canceling (NC) low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) without any influence on impedance matching. Furthermore, this can be combined with <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">${gm}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> -boost and achieve LO low power consumption. Fabricated in 65-nm CMOS...
This paper presents a modified post-distortion (PD) linearization technique for cascode common-gate low noise amplifiers (CG-LNAs) working at high frequencies up to millimeter-wave band. utilizes an auxiliary transistor together with inter-stage inductor suppress the third order distortion without degrading gain. The input intercept point (IIP3) of linearized CG-LNA is improved by factor 12 dB. For demonstration, mm-wave differential was fabricated based on 65-nm CMOS process. It achieves...
This letter presents a concurrent dual-band low-noise amplifier (LNA) operating at 28 and 39 GHz for multiband 5G wireless systems. In order to achieve wideband input power matching, the LNA adopts shunt-series feedback structure. Detailed noise analysis of transformer is proposed guide noise-optimized design, modified network improve matching. The method also enhances transconductance stage, thus suppressing subsequent circuit obtaining better overall figure (NF). Based on this structure,...
In urban rail transit, there is a large number of harmonics brought by diode rectifiers, and shunt active power filters (APFs) are an effective method rejection. Traditional APFs work with dedicated DC link leading to complexity, while those common bus but using non-isolated topologies bring serious problems zero-sequence circulating current (ZSCC), which introduce losses provoke poor quality. Consequently, this paper first analyzes the limitations traditional on modulation radio. Based...
Paralleling SiC MOSFETs is a popular way to increase the current capacity. However, due asymmetric layout, device parameter mismatch and other factors, imbalanced switching or dynamic observed among paralleled switches in multi-device paralleling application which results unequal loss, challenging security reliability of system. In this paper, common-mode choke gate loop proposed analyzed suppress induced by layout half-bridge configuration with Kelvin-source connection. The mechanism method...
DC collection network offers an attractive alternative to AC for photovoltaic, as it avoids the charging current issues and reduces size weight. Abstract This paper presents theoretical analysis and design procedures for low noise amplifiers (LNAs) in advanced CMOS technologies. For demonstration, a 30‐GHz LNA designed 5G millimeter‐wave communication systems was fabricated 65‐nm process. It provides power gain of 22.6 dB with figure 3.2 while drawing 7.3 mW from 1.2 V supply.
The purpose of this paper is to sum up concerns when designing a gate driver for SiC MOSFETs, and provide two examples. Both them can detect over current the power device. One use IC adapt it meet requirement which simple convenient. For better performance in terms switching frequency reliability, other one adopt magnetic transformers signals secondary side respectively. work on any duty ratio fast dynamic command. A second order R-C network designed Experimental comparison shows latter...
Dual active bridge is a promising isolated bidirectional DC/DC converter which has attracted more and attention due to its advantages of zero-voltage switching, great voltage regulation ability, high power density, fast dynamic response. However, the DC bias problem seldom mentioned, may lead system instability decreased efficiency. Besides, whether can realize soft switching in process unclear. This paper proposed novel phase-shift loading mode not only elimination but also achieve zero...
Input-parallel output-parallel Dual Active Bridge converters are suitable for high current application with bidirectional power flow. However, parameter mismatch causes the imbalance among parallel modules, which leads to imbalanced loss dissipation and decreases system capacity. This paper proposes an automatic current-sharing method input-parallel using coupled inductors without any sensors or digital algorithm. The is analyzed in detail derive quantitative relation between performance...
