This review summarizes recent progress in CTE studies focusing on understanding the mechanisms and general characteristics. Additionally, some interdisciplinary distinctive are discussed.
Purely-organic clusterization-triggered emission (CTE) has displayed promising abilities in bioimaging, chemical sensing, and multicolor luminescence. However, it remains absent the field of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) due to difficulties well-aligning nonconventional luminogens. We report a case CPL generated with CTE using solid phase molecular self-assembly (SPMSA) poly-L-lysine (PLL) oleate ion (OL), that is, macroscopic supramolecular film self-assembled by electrostatic...
In this paper, the effects of different succinic anhydride (SA) additions on flexibility soy protein isolate (SPI) were investigated, and changes in conformation interfacial functional properties measured. The structure-effect relationship between conformation, flexibility, was established.SPI bound to SA through disulfide bonds, zeta potential reduced. β-sheet content decreased, disordered structure increased, there tertiary microstructure. surface hydrophobicity, bond content, solution...
This present work underlines the effect of pH-shifting at pH 2 and 12 individually or combined with ultrasound treatment to modify molecular structure β-conglycinin (7S) on its emulsifying properties stability. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy intrinsic fluorescence showed that improves 7S, while further promotes structural changes. In particular, (U-7S-12) resulted in more significant changes than (U-7S-2). U-7S-12 a reduction protein particle size from 152 34.77 nm relatively...
Abstract Information security is of predominant significance, while multiple logic information encryption techniques remain challenging. Here it reported that upon coupling the unduplicable Jun Porcelain‐like birefringence and enables polarized fluorescence with solid phase molecular self‐assembly(SPMSA), can be achieved correctly applying UV light polarizing angles. Since each unique transformed into a corresponding digital bar code, further encrypted assistance code bank, thus yielding...
The brittleness of many supramolecular films in a dry environment has prevented their further application as plastics. We report here the fabrication plastics displaying excellent dry-flexibility and mechanical strength through room-temperature solid-phase molecular self-assembly using water-locking polyelectrolyte surfactant. Aided by mild pressure about 0.5 MPa, locked water enables polyelectrolyte-bridged surfactant microdomains to merge into large mesophases reduce interface energy,...
This research underlines the potential of alginate multilayered gel microspheres for layered encapsulation and simultaneous delivery vitamin B2 (VB) β-carotene (BC). Chitosan was used to improve stability controlled release ability alginate-based microspheres. It shown that a clear structure possessed characteristics pH response, excellent thermal stability. The sodium concentration number layers had notable effects on mechanical properties particle size Fourier-transform infrared...
Abstract Clusterization‐triggered emission is emerging as a powerful strategy leading to useful luminescence such room‐temperature phosphoresce (CTE‐RTP), yet people's recognition on CTE‐RTP still very limited, so that it remains challenging achieve multicolor due the difficulty in tailoring clustering state of atoms with lone pair electrons. The authors report phosphorescence resonance energy transfer (PRET) can occur system, which enables fine‐tuning color CTE‐RTP. Since broad band range...
Abstract Photo‐triggered chromism has emerged as critically important in materials for advanced soft photonic devices. The conventional photochromic units with reversible color change between two isomers are unstable either thermally or photochemically, which is an challenge long‐standing optical Here, a novel photo‐enhanced coordination mechanism leading to stable reported. Upon tethering the aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) moiety diphenyldibenzofulvene (PBF) dicarboxylic pyridine group,...
A rejuvenable large-area polyelectrolyte–surfactant supramolecular film formed by applying pressure can be used in a recyclable manner to rapidly capture spilled oil.
Allosteric regulation is extensively employed by nature to achieve functional control of protein or deoxyribonucleic acid through triggered conformational change at a remote site. We report that similar strategy can be utilized in artificial self-assembly the self-assembled structure and its function. show on binding metal ions headgroup an amphiphile TTC4L, may lead dipole orientation energy donor chain end. This one hand leads drastically different structure; other hand, it enables light...
Abstract Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) enabled by chiral self‐assembly is very promising in diversified applications. However, temperature‐triggered disassembly or transition often results reduction even silence of CPL. Here, a strategy coordinating reported that offers temperature enhanced and retainable CPL resistant to further variation. Upon co‐assembling commercial dyes with the hydrogel cholate‐calcium, chirality transfer from cholate allows generation With increasing...
Abstract White afterglow is very appealing both in scenario‐specific luminescence and background‐free bio‐imaging, while it challenging to obtain stable white due the difficulty matching emission lifetimes of complementary colors. It reported here that assisted partial phosphorescence resonance energy transfer (ap‐PRET) can be a efficient way toward this goal. When blue donor with long lifetime obtained polymeric network displaying phosphorescent clusterization‐triggered (CTE), between...

Abstract Clustering-triggered emission (CTE) has displayed promising abilities in bioimaging, chemical sensing, and multicolor luminescence. However, it remains absent the field of circularly polarized (CPL) due to difficulties well-aligning nonconventional luminogens. We report first case CPL generated with CTE using solid phase molecular self-assembly(SPMSA) poly-L-lysine(PLL) sodium oleate (OL). Under mechanical pressure, electrostatic complex PLL/OL form supramolecular film which OL ions...
