Kinetics of oxidation MgO–C refractory bricks containing 14.3% graphite, 80.9% magnesia, and 4.8% phenolic resin is investigated comprehensively. Effect temperature grain size distribution on the rate graphite evaluated by application a mathematical model developed basis shrinking core/progressive conversion regime to gas–solid processes involved. Incorporation experimental data into indicates that mixed controlling mechanism governs rate. Three activation energies were recognized: (a) 68...
Nanoscaled quantum dots (QDs), with unique optical properties have been used for the development of theranostics. Here, InP/ZnS QDs were synthesised and functionalised folate (QD-FA), D-glucosamine (QD-GA) or both (QD-FA-GA). The bi-functionalised further conjugated doxorubicin (QD-FA-GA-DOX). Optimum Indium to fatty acid (In:MA) ratio was 1:3.5. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) micrographs revealed spherical morphology (11 nm). Energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) spectrum confirmed...
Abstract Barium titanate (BaTiO 3 ) nanostructures with a tetragonal structure have unique mechanical and piezoelectric properties. BaTiO nanoplatelets (BTNPs) were synthesized via the precipitation of hydroxide (Ba‐Ti‐OH) precursor, which was subsequently subjected to hydrothermal treatment. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) granules BTNPs powder compounded through melt‐mixing within laboratory internal mixer PVDF/BTNP nanocomposite. The dispersion analyzed using FE‐SEM images. examination...
