Immature stages of many Brazilian Smicridea species remains unknown, and efforts to describe all life are required. In this paper, the larva pupa (Rhyacophylax) gladiator Flint 1978, associated with adults through metamorphotype method, described illustrated. addition, known distribution is extended in Amazon Basin new records from Amazonas state first record Pará state. The worldwide caddisfly family Calamoceratidae comprises about 175 extant species in eight genera (Holzenthal et al. 2007).
