Cooperation between organelles is essential to maintain the normal functions of cells. Lipid droplets (LDs) and nucleoli, as important organelles, play an role in activities However, due lack appropriate tools, situ observation interaction them has been rarely reported. In this work, taking into full consideration pH charge differences LDs a pH-triggered reversible fluorescent probe (LD-Nu) was constructed based on cyclization-ring-opening mechanism. The vitro titration experiment 1H NMR...
An anti-degradation gelatin film crosslinked by an active ester based on MCC was prepared for applications in the food industry, medical engineering, agriculture, etc.
A simple and effective process for the dehydration of fructose into 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) using ionic liquid 1-(4-sulfonic acid) butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate (IL-1) as catalyst was developed. High conversion 100% with HMF yield 94.6% obtained at 120 °C 180 min reaction time in water-4-methyl-2-pentanone (MIBK) biphase system. Generally, increase water content had a negative effect on reaction, selectivity decreased excessive elevation temperature prolonging time, which...
Graphene oxide (GO), prepared by the modified Hummers method, was applied as a highly active and selective solid acid catalyst for oxidative transformation of furfural (FAL) into succinic (SA) with H2O2 oxidant. Over GO catalyst, 88.2% yield SA from FAL achieved under relatively mild reaction conditions. By characterization various control experiments, higher efficiency than conventional catalysts attributed to its unique atomic layered structure suitable acidity. On basis results in this...
Abstract BACKGROUND Among the natural polymers able to form edible films, starch and gelatin (Gel) are potential sources. Corn is a polysaccharide widely produced around world, differs from other hydrocolloids as fully digestible protein, containing nearly all essential amino acids, except tryptophan. Based on this, with advantages such abundance, relatively low cost, biodegradability, edibility, studies considering alternative systems for food protection that utilize biopolymers have...
Abstract The biomass pretreatment strategies using organic acids facilitate lignin removal and enhance the enzymatic digestion of cellulose. However, always suffers a severe irreversible condensation. newly generated C–C bonds dramatically affect its further upgrading. In this study, we used recyclable hydrotrope ( p -Toluenessulfonic acid, -TsOH) to dissolve under mild condition stabilized with quenching agent (formaldehyde, FA) during extraction, achieving both value-added extraction...
Abstract BACKGROUND In recent years, many types of food‐packaging films and composites have been prepared using gelatin because its good film‐forming ability, non‐toxic nature cost‐effectiveness. However, the relatively weak thermal stability, poor mechanical properties easily‐degradable quality limit potential application as a practical material. Microcrystalline cellulose ( MCC ), which comprises one most abundant biomass resources, has regarded safe reliable food additive it same...
Gelatin (GE) was modified with epoxy silicone quaternary ammonium salt (EPSiQA) under alkaline conditions (pH 10-11). Silyl and groups were linked to gelatin skeleton simultaneously. It illustrated by XRD DSC that the short-range order of GE is destroyed glass transition temperature (Tg) drops 10 °C after modification. The measured contact angles surface free energy calculated Owens-Wendt equation showed EPSiQA-GE mainly contributed dispersive component non-polarity groups, hydrophobility...
Abstract The construction of the heterostructures with intimate contacts and prominent sunlight absorption capacity are essential for achieving highly effective photocatalytic H 2 evolution. Here, CdS/MoS constituted by CdS nanoparticals loaded on uniform MoS nanoribbons were synthesized through solid‐gas reaction hydrothermal treatments. In as‐prepared heterostructures, there large‐area contact interfaces between external dispersed small nanoribbons. Impressively, optimized ‐8 photocatalyst...
Microstructure of gelatin particles played a key role in determining the physicochemical properties gelatin. Ionic strength and pH as systematic manners were considered to affect structure on micrometer scale. Scanning electron microscopy was used for depicting morphologies particles. Increasing 10.0 or decreasing 4.0, spherical, spindle, irregular aggregates at 2, 6, 10, 14% solution (w/w) all transformed spindle aggregates. When NaCl added system, molecular chains possibly rearranged...
Succinic anhydride (SAD) modified microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) films was prepared and used for the controlled release of drug domperidone (dom). The morphology chemical structure materials were characterized by SEM, FTIR, XRD TG/DSC techniques. physical properties, such as water uptake swelling, light barrier mechanical testing, in vitro degradation behavior, have been investigated. Results showed that membranes exhibited good anti-UV higher values, improved capacity...
Abstract The urethane reaction of symmetrical diisocyanate 1,3-diazetidine-2,4-dione (uretdione) with 4-(tetrahydro-pyran-2-yloxy)-butan-1-ol (mono-THP ether) was carried out in chlorobenzene 1,4-diazabicyclo [2.2.2] octane (DABCO) or dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL) as catalyst. Analysis the second-order rate constants those systems indicated that k followed order DABCO>DBTDL. Then kinetics studied by means situ FT-IR. Due to a greater distance apart two isocyanate groups molecule, there no...
Herein we report a Pd-catalyzed regio- and diastereoselective hydro(hetero)arylation of inactivated alkylidenecyclobutanes. This protocol provides rapid atom-economical route to access 3-cyclobutyl (hetero)arenes with good functionalities toleration. With the assistance directing group, nucleophilic attack happened on bulkier γ-position form quaternary carbon center. Furthermore, selected products exhibited antitumor bioactivities.
