A three-dimensional hyperbranched polymer (3D-HP) with σ–π conjugated PDMPS (poly(dichloromethylphenylsilane)s) units covalently bonded to a polyhedral oligosilsesquioxane (POSS) scaffold was prepared by one-step “thiol–ene click chemistry” reaction.

A general theoretical investigation on the reaction of primary amine with aldehyde was carried out by density functional theory. The calculation systems involve three kinds amines (methylamine, vinylamine, and phenylamine) aldehydes (formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrylaldehyde). steric electronic inductive effects mechanism were studied. Results reveal that nucleophilic attack under neutral conditions leads to carbinolamines, rather than Schiff bases. protonated produces base. hindrance slows...

Nanocomposites have attracted more attention due to their extensive applications. However, it is still a huge technological challenge in fabrication of transparent hybrid materials because nanoparticle aggregation resulting from high specific surface energies. In this paper polymerizable molecule was controlled chemically grafted onto ZnS nanoparticles obtain polymerizable-group-capped that can copolymerize with mixture acrylic monomers N,N-dimethylacrylamide (DMA) and 2-hydroxyethyl...

Abstract Two series of multibranched compounds with vinylenes attaching to the s-triazine core have been synthesized. The two-photon absorption cross section (σ) increases significantly as branch number increases, ratios σ between one-, two-, and three-branched being 1.0:3.3:7.0 for A 1.0:3.7:7.0 B respectively, indicating remarkable cooperative enhancement.

Abstract Herein, an environmentally friendly electrochemical approach is reported that takes advantage of the captodative effect and delocalization to generate nitrogen‐centered radicals (NCRs). By changing reaction parameters electrode material feedstock solubility, dearomatization enabled a selective dehydrogenative C−N versus N−N bond formation reaction. Hence, pyrido[1,2‐ ]benzimidazole tetraarylhydrazine frameworks were prepared through sustainable transition‐metal‐ exogenous...

Abstract A new cobalt coordination polymer with linking unit 2-(1H-imidazole-1-yl)acetate (ima), [Co(ima)2] n (1), has been synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The analysis indicates that a neutral 2-D (3,6) topology was obtained, which shows 3-D supramolecular network through C–H···O weak interactions. Complex 1 displays mild antimicrobial activity against Achromobacter xylosoxidans ATCC 2706, Bacillus subtilis...
