2205 duplex stainless steel (DSS) and Incoloy 825 alloys are extensively utilized in the marine environment for decades but have some limitations of insufficient hardness strength poor wear resistance. Here, we developed AlCoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy (HEA), which showed a good combination mechanical, wear-resistant corrosion-resistant properties. Vickers compressive yield HEA were ∼517.6 HV ∼1306.4 MPa, respectively, much higher than those DSS alloys. Besides, there is smaller rate lower...
High-entropy alloys (HEAs) with good ductility and high strength are usually prepared by a combination of forging heat-treatment processes.
