Paenibacillus polymyxa is a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium that has immense potential to be used as an environmentally friendly replacement of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. In the present study, SK1 was isolated from bulbs Lilium lancifolium. The endophytic strain showed antifungal activities against important pathogens like Botryosphaeria dothidea, Fusarium oxysporum, Botrytis cinerea, fujikuroi. highest percentage growth inhibition, i.e., 66.67 ± 2.23%, observed for dothidea...

Abstract In this study, we explored the role of biochar (BC) and/or urease inhibitor (UI) in mitigating ammonia (NH 3 ) and nitrous oxide (N 2 O) discharge from urea fertilized wheat cultivated fields Pakistan (34.01°N, 71.71°E). The experiment included five treatments [control, (150 kg N ha −1 ), BC (10 Mg + UI (1 L ton )], which were all repeated four times carried out a randomized complete block design. Urea supplementation along with reduced soil NH emissions by 27% 69%, respectively,...

The present study was aimed at isolating endophytic fungi from the Asian culinary and medicinal plant Lilium davidii analyzing its antifungal growth-promoting effects. In this study, fungal endophyte Acremonium sp. Ld-03 isolated bulbs of L. identified through morphological molecular analysis. analysis confirmed strain as Ld-03. Antifungal effects were observed against Fusarium oxysporum, Botrytis cinerea, Botryosphaeria dothidea, fujikuroi. highest growth inhibition, i.e., <math...

Background: Plant parasitic nematodes (PPNs) are considered major agriculture pests, causing significant damage to crops by directly targeting the plant root system prevent water and nutrient uptake. One of its species, Meloidogyne incognita, is a serious threat crop production worldwide. The current study was intended evaluate potential Nanoparticles synthesized from Salix alba bark extract as nematicidal agent. Methods: Phytochemical analyses were conducted, nanoparticles same characterized...

Hepatitis C is an infectious disease, caused by blood borne pathogen; the Virus. In this study we analyzed samples collected from various risk groups for prevalence of anti-HCV and active HCV infection with help Immunochromtographic tests nested PCR. The among high was 15.57% (26/167). in individual 15%, 28%, 8%, 14.28% case thalassemics, dialysis, major surgery group, dental group injection drug users respectively. Our analysis reveals fact that health care facilities Khyber Pakhtunkhwa...

Abstract Three phosphate solubilizing bacteria were isolated and identified by 16S rRNA sequencing as Pseudomonas putida, sp fulva . The strains subjected to plant biochemical testing all the PGPR attributes checked in presence of pesticides (chlorpyrifos pyriproxyfen). index strain Ros2 was highest NBRIP medium i.e 2.23 mm. All showed acidic pH (ranges from 2.5-5) on both PVK NBRIP. Strain highly positive for ammonia production well siderophore while Rad2 HCN production. results obtained...

Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) is an aerobic gram-negative, non-spore forming, rod-shaped bacterium. It accelerates the decline in lung function and ultimately leads to increased mortality morbidity rate. Survival virulence of P. due its biofilm formation ability. The main aim this study was test synergistic effect silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) combination with Polymyxin B against biofilms aeruginosa. A total 500 pus aspirations were collected bacterial pathogens identified. Biofilm...

Abstract Iron, a crucial micronutrient, is an integral element of biotic vitality. The scarcity iron in the soil creates agronomic challenges and has detrimental impact on crop vigour chlorophyll formation. Utilizing oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) via nanopriming emerges as innovative method to enhance agricultural efficiency health. objective this study was synthesize biogenic IONPs from Glycyrrhiza glabra ( G. ) plant extract using green chemistry evaluate their effects rice seed levels...

In the present study an effort has been made to optimize in vitro regeneration protocol for Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of Brassica juncea, because its importance as oilseed crops. The highest callus induction frequency 87% was observed on MS (Murashige and Skoog, 1962) medium supplemented with 4 µM 6-benzyladenine (BA) after four weeks culture period. Subculturing organogenic calli media a similar hormonal composition resulted shoot organogenesis six cultivation. (92%) recorded...

ABSTRACT The Escherichia coli gene katE, which is driven by the promoter of Rubisco small subunit tomato, rbcS3C, was introduced into a tomato ( Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) Agrobacterium tumefaciens ‐mediated transformation. Catalase activity in progeny from transgenic plants approximately three‐fold higher than that wild‐type plants. Leaf discs remained green at 24 h after treatment with 1 µ m paraquat under moderate light intensity, whereas leaf showed severe bleaching same treatment....

Abstract Hepatitis C is a fatal liver disease caused by the hepatitis virus. In this study, blood donors, from various districts of KPK province and federally administered tribal area (FATA) Pakistan were tested for anti-HCV antibodies HCV RNA ICT (Immuno-chromatographic test), ELISA RT-PCR. Out 7148 224 (3.13%) positive ICT, 135 (1.89%) while 118 (1.65%) donors had active infection as detected We suggest that should be used screening in public sector hospitals health care units.
