We show that the hybrids of single-layer graphene oxide with manganese ferrite magnetic nanoparticles have best adsorption properties for efficient removal Pb(II), As(III), and As(V) from contaminated water. The nanohybrids prepared by coprecipitation technique were characterized using atomic force scanning electron microscopies, Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy, Raman X-ray diffraction, surface area measurements. Magnetic character was ascertained a vibrating sample magnetometer....

We report the synthesis of Ba0.5Sr0.5ZnxZrxFe12-2xO19 (x = 0.00–1.00) samples using sol–gel auto combustion method. The Rietveld refinement XRD data indicates a) pure phase formation, b) increase in lattice parameters with composition and c) absence undesirable phases such as α–Fe2O3, BaCO3 SrCO3. FESEM TEM micrographs reveal an grain size 'x'. broadening Raman peaks without any peak shift all that Zn2+/Zr4+ions are incorporated into Ba0.5Sr0.5Fe12O19 altering local structure. Magnetic...

Abstract In this article, novel M-type hexaferrites SrCo x Ni Fe 12−2x O 19 were synthesized using the sol–gel method. The phase structure was characterized by x-ray diffraction, grain morphology investigated from scanned electron micrographs, and dielectric/electric/impedance characteristics analyzed in frequency range of 100 Hz to 2 MHz. X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed formation without any secondary phase. size distribution significantly affected Co-Ni dopants there an observation...

M-type barium hexaferrite (BHF) is frequently used for permanent magnet preparation. Herein, we have synthesized BHF via sol–gel-auto-combustion route using Jamun pulp which perform multiple functions such as natural fuel, green reducing agent and ecofriendly chelating agent. The effect of concentration (10–60 g/100 mL water) on structural, morphological properties, coercivity the saturation magnetization has been studied first time.
