Beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) coacervate formation with sodium alginate (ALG) was investigated by turbidimetric analysis, zeta potential, particle size, viscosity, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) isothermal titration calorimetric (ITC) measurements as a function of pH (1.0–7.0) protein/alginate mixing ratio (1:1, 1.5:1, 2:1, 1:0, 0:1 wt.). Critical values phase transitions for BSA–ALG complexes (pHC, pHφ1, pHφφ2) representing the soluble insoluble protein–ALG...

Abstract Humanity is facing a global challenge of dwindling water resources and the situation intensifying due to growing population leading excessive pollution. Nanofiltration an important membrane-based technology for production clean potable domestic industrial setups. Hyper-cross-linked polyamide thin film composite nanofiltration (HCPA-TFC-NF) membranes have been fabricated by using multifunctional amine 1 (possessing two primary -NH 2 secondary groups) bifunctional terephthaloyl...

Ni‐Mo nanocrystalline deposits (7–43 nm) with a nodular morphology were prepared by electrodeposition using direct current from citrate‐ammonia solutions. They exhibited single solid solution phase. The size of the nodules increased as electroplating density increased. molybdenum content—estimated EDX analysis—in decreased about 31 to 11 wt% 5 80 mA·cm −2 . highest microhardness value (285 Hv) corresponded nanodeposits 23% Mo. corrosion resistance accompanied relatively high hardness was...

Abstract In this study, 5-amino-nicotinic acid derivatives ( 1 – 13 ) have been designed and synthesized to evaluate their inhibitory potential against α-amylase α-glucosidase enzymes. The compounds exhibited promising activities. IC 50 values for activity ranged between 12.17 ± 0.14 37.33 0.02 µg/mL SEM while the were 12.01 0.09 38.01 0.12 SEM. particular, 2 4 8 demonstrated significant activities of these was comparable standard acarbose (10.98 0.03 10.79 0.17 SEM, respectively). addition,...

The present study explored the plant growth promotion and bioremediation potential of bacteria inhabiting wastewater irrigated agricultural soils. Thirty out 75 bacterial isolates (40%), 29/75 (39%) 28/75 (37%) solubilized Zn, K PO4 during plate essays respectively. Fifty-six percent produced siderophores, while 30% released protease in vitro. Seventy-four resisted Pb, Ni Cd at various concentrations added to culture media plates. Sixteen (26%) were able fix N Nbf medium. Among these 16...

A novel triazine-based resin (APP-TRIAZ) has been synthesised for the highly efficient and rapid removal of methyl orange (MO), acid blue 92 (AB92) malachite green (MG) from aqueous solution. The mesoporous APP-TRIAZ displayed excellent adsorptive performance with maximum adsorption capacities (Qmax) 454.96 mg g−1, 329.56 g−1 424.81 MO, AB92 MG, respectively. experimental data were examined by non-linear curve fitting four isotherm models which hinted that Lagergren's pseudo-second-order...
