This study investigated the relationship between positive/negative death imagery and anxiety. Subjects were 179 undergraduate students at a large, private, midwestern university. Results reveal that on five measures of anxiety subjects with low scores had significantly more positive images than did those high scores. This study examined neuropsychological and academic achievement correlates of statistically abnormal VIQ<PIQ discrepancies on the WISC-R in a sample 53 hospitalized children. Of 17 measures, only aphasia errors was associated with VIQ. Academic measures reading, spelling, arithmetic were discrepancies.
