We have performed angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy experiments in the soft x-ray region order to clarify band structure and Fermi surfaces (FSs) of URu${}_{2}$Si${}_{2}$. Muon-spin relaxation results on the pyrochlore iridate Nd$_2$Ir$_2$O$_7$ are reported. We have used the pulsed muon source at ISIS to study high-temperature Na-ion dynamics in quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) metallic antiferromagnet NaV2O4.
