Herein, we are reporting the interaction of ionic liquid type gemini surfactant, 1,4-bis(3-dodecylimidazolium-1-yl) butane bromide ([C12-4-C12 im]Br2) with lysozyme by using Steady state fluorescence, UV-visible, Time resolved Fourier transform-infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy techniques in combination molecular modeling and docking method. The steady fluorescence spectra suggested that was quenched [C12-4-C12 im]Br2 through static quenching mechanism as confirmed time spectroscopy. binding...
The interactions of imidazolium bashed ionic liquid-type cationic gemini surfactant ([C12-4-C12im]Br2) with HSA were studied by fluorescence, time-resolved UV-visible, circular dichroism, molecular docking and dynamic simulation methods. results showed that the [C12-4-C12im]Br2 quenched fluorescence through quenching mechanism as confirmed spectroscopy. Stern-Volmer constant (Ksv) relevant thermodynamic parameters such enthalpy change (ΔH), Gibbs free energy (ΔG) entropy (ΔS) for interaction...
The densities, ρ, ultrasonic speeds, u and viscosities, η of pure benzyl alcohol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol those their binary mixtures, with alcohol as a common component, have been measured at 298.15, 303.15, 308.15 313.15 K over the entire composition range. excess molar volume, V E, deviation in isentropic compressibility, Δk s , thermal expansivity, αE, deviations speed, Δu viscosity, Δη, partial volume 1-propanol/2-propanol infinite dilution evaluated from experimental data. results used...
Abstract Conductivities of (0.001–0.012) m sodium dodecyl sulfate have been determined in water and the presence 0.10 aqueous glycine/alanine/glycylglycine at 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15 K. From specific conductivity data, critical micellar concentration, degree counter ion association, counterion dissociation, free energy transfer hydrophobic chain from medium to interior micelle, surface contribution, standard micellization, enthalpy entropy micellization computed. The thermodynamic...
Abstract Several spectroscopic approaches namely fluorescence, time‐resolved UV‐visible, and Fourier transform infra‐red (FT‐IR) spectroscopy were employed to examine the interaction between ethane‐1,2‐diyl bis( N , ‐dimethyl‐ ‐hexadecylammoniumacetoxy)dichloride (16‐E2‐16) bovine serum albumin (BSA). Fluorescence studies revealed that 16‐E2‐16 quenched BSA fluorescence through a static quenching mechanism, which was further confirmed by UV–visible spectroscopy. In addition, binding constant...
The viscosities, η, and refractive indices, n, of pure dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO), benzene, toluene, o-xylene, m-xylene, p-xylene mesitylene, those their 54 binary mixtures, with DMSO as common component, covering the whole composition range have been measured at 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15 K. From experimental data, deviations in viscosity, Δη molar refraction, ΔRm calculated. variation these parameters temperature mixtures discussed terms molecular interaction mixtures. effect...
Abstract Densities, ρ and viscosities, η for L-serine, L-threonine, L-glutamine, L-lysine, L-arginine L-histidine (0.05–0.25 m) in 0.20 m aqueous tetramethylammonium bromide were determined at 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15 K. The density data was used to compute apparent molar volume, φ v . partial 0 , infinite dilution experimental slope, S * obtained from Masson´s equation interpreted terms of solute-solvent solute-solute interactions, respectively. values are found vary with temperature...
The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) in pure water and the presence amino acids (0.01, 0.02 0.03 mol kg−1), L-valine (Val) L-leucine (Leu) was determined from conductometric fluorometric methods using pyrene as luminescence probe. Depression CMC at low is attributed to increased hydrophobic–hydrophobic interaction between non-polar groups surfactant, while, high concentration, bind strongly with anion, DS−, head SDS, thereby, delaying formation, resulting...
The solvent mixtures made up of ionic liquid and molecular solvents have potential applications in various fields such as chemical analysis synthesis. Thus, the present study, role microsphere changing behavior solvatochromic absorbance probe within binary liquids with common organic is explored. Further, probes explained help solute–solvent solvent–solvent interactions mixtures. 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [bmim][Tf2N], solvents, polar protic (methanol,...
