The primary objective of this research is to study the relationship between surface movement and hydrological triggers a large active landslide in Three Gorges Reservoir (the Shuping landslide). When was reactivated June 2003 owing impoundment Dam, measurement began through use manual global positioning system (GPS) monitoring. Since 2012, near-real-time data with fine temporal resolution have been collected continuous automatic GPS. In total, more than 10 years recorded for landslide....

Abstract A 2‐D separation platform was constructed using micro strong cation‐exchange liquid chromatography (μ‐SCXLC) and reversed‐phase pressurized capillary electrochromatography (RP‐pCEC) for the analysis of complex samples. Samples were fractionated by first‐dimension μ‐SCXLC with a linear solvent gradient then injected into second‐dimension RP‐pCEC further separation. The μ‐SCXLC/RP‐pCEC system three mechanisms, namely cation‐exchange, electrophoresis, provided high selectivity,...

Abstract A novel on‐line 2‐D system was developed for peptide and protein mapping. The combines capillary IEF (cIEF) with pressurized CEC (pCEC) using a micro‐injection valve as the interface. Sample fractions, which were focused separated in first‐dimension cIEF based on their differences p I s, electrically mobilized further successively resolved by size, hydrophobicity, electrophoretic mobility second‐dimension pCEC. In presented system, interface free of external electric field two...

Small rainfall events (≤ 5 mm) have short intervals, but account for a large proportion of the annual frequency in arid lands. To explore possible strategies used by desert plants to utilize small events, we investigated photosynthetic responses 28 species 1 mm and 6 simulated Junggar Basin, northwest China. The were grouped into four plant functional types: short-life-cycle herbs, long-life-cycle non-phreatophyte shrubs, phreatophyte shrubs. results showed that net rate, stomatal...

To overcome the defects of landslide monitoring methods on ground or airborne- satellite-based remote sensing, micro unmanned aerial vehicle (micro-UAV) based sensing method is used to Qinglingou slope, a steep slope in Three Gorges Reservoir, China. A tailormade micro-UAV with multi-rotor, high-accuracy position orientation system and digital camera assembled, it can fly photograph automatically according flight plan. After acquiring all photographs, orthophoto terrain model (DTM) high...

Many landslides in the Three Gorges Reservoir area have large deformation during drawdown of reservoir water level every year. In order to study dynamic mechanism, stability and development trend landslide level, this paper takes Baishuihe as an example. Based on field geological survey, detailed exploration, full use monitoring data more than ten years, characteristics, influence factors are analyzed detail, is predicted. Analysis results show that, underground can not be discharged time...

The fluctuation of water levels in large reservoirs has long been recognized as a critical external factor that affects the stability bank slopes. However, there have limited studies investigating influence reservoir level (RWL) on anti-dip layered rock In this study, we constructed conceptual model by selecting sandstone Three Gorges Reservoir Area (TRGA) strata and considering variations thickness, dip angle, permeability coefficient, RWL rate, slope height. Through seepage-stress field...

The objective of this work is to investigate the implications geological influence factors on gas content and geochemical characteristics deep-buried (> 800 m) coalbed methane (CBM) reservoirs. Results show that bituminous coal accounts for majority, which exhibits similar maturity but differ in maceral chemical constituents. CBM reservoirs low porosity, permeability moderate temperature, with thickness 0.85–4.15 m. In addition, total 4.58–12.33 m3/t (average 8.83 m3/t). CH4 main component...

Reservoir water level is one important factor influencing the stability of landslides. The dynamic response landslide under reservoir function and its features are analyzed using theoretical numerical methods. results show that, in terms fluctuation permeability, seepage filed can be divided into four types: lag behind impoundment(X-Ⅰ), drawdown(T-Ⅰ), synchronization with impoundment(X-Ⅱ) drawdown (T-Ⅱ). Under drawdown, at a certain rate drops permeability landslide. impoundment, rise level,...
