Although, glyphosate (N-(phosphonomethyl) glycine) is one of the most widely used herbicides in world, its interaction with poorly crystalline iron oxides, such as ferrihydrite, not well studied. In this research, we examined adsorption onto ferrihydrite using infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), kinetic models and isotherm models. The effect pH sodium chloride concentration on extractors (CaCl2 0.010 mol L-1 Mehlich) desorption were also evaluated. There are...
This study explores a sustainable approach to developing magnetic nanocomposites by synthesizing mixed-phase iron oxide (IO) and recycled polyamide (RPA) composite from textile waste. The RPA/IO nanocomposite’s microstructural properties were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) with Rietveld refinement, scanning, transmission electron microscopy (SEM, TEM), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). proportions of the Fe3O4 γ-Fe2O3 phases found be 23.2 wt% 76.8 wt%, respectively. SEM TEM...
Abstract BACKGROUND Grape seeds are a relatively abundant source of oil and bioactive compounds. To use this byproduct, the current work aimed to optimize ultrasound‐assisted extraction (UAE) grape‐seed obtain greater process yield minimize free radical formation in oil. RESULTS The optimal condition was 15 °C with an ultrasonic wave amplitude 42 µm, leading 82.9% content radicals 14.7 × 10 17 kg −1 3.4 18 for samples stored 7 30 days, respectively. No significant differences fatty acid...
Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) is a thermoplastic copolymer commonly used in the electronics, automotive, and construction industries. In aquatic environment, formation of microplastics from larger-sized plastic waste occurs naturally, induced by physical, chemical, biological processes that promote aging these particles. Here, we investigated interactions between freshwater amphipod Hyalella azteca ABS (10–20 μm) (pristine after accelerated aging) over 7 days exposure. At end...
Many fruits and vegetables contain compounds with antioxidant properties, but the processing storage conditions of food industry may damage these beneficial produce free radicals that are associated oxidative stress. This study aims to evaluate in vitro capacity prooxidant effects juçara pulp fermented Lactobacillus reuteri or plantarum before after spray-drying maltodextrin, gum arabic gelatin stored at 25 °C for 90 days. The was assessed by measuring ability scavenge reactive oxygen...

Goethite (α‐FeOOH) is by definition an antiferromagnetic (AFM) material. In the present work investigation of magnetic properties goethite performed, studying component this material in different samples and relating these with its structural morphological characteristics. Samples are synthetized two distinct ways order to generate solids degrees defects imperfections. Electron spin resonance (ESR) data show that sample synthesized a faster procedure, most susceptible imperfections (GC...
This study explores a sustainable approach to developing magnetic nanocomposites by synthesizing mixed-phase iron oxide (IO) and recycled polyamide (RPA) composite derived from textile waste. The RPA/IO nanocomposite’s microstructural properties were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) with Rietveld refinement, scanning, transmission electron microscopy (SEM, TEM), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), Mössbauer spectroscopy. XRD confirmed the presence of both magnetite (Fe₃O₄)...
Solids of adenine obtained from distilled water and seawater lyophilized solutions were γ irradiated at a 94.52 kGy dose. Results indicate that pure solid had low degradation rate, likewise the containing salts. However, EPR spectroscopy analysis suggests high interaction radiation with salts, by radical formation in sulfate ions. These outcomes are interest for prebiotic chemistry, since ions could have played important roles chemical evolution. In addition, Martian soil is rich sulphate...
In recent years, the number of systems that involves use magnetic nanoparticles has exponentially increased.Magnetic have been a viable alternative as catalyst support. Its high surface area results in loading capacity, dispersion, outstanding and convenient recycling.Hybrid consisting polymers are based on polymeric layer either coating or embedded polymer network [1].
Biodiesel is a relevant source of renewable energy which has received lot attention due to the need create fuel matrix. An important raw material for biodiesel production oilseeds. Considering lack studies characterizing magnetic species present in seeds, different types oilseed samples were characterized and compared using X-band Electron Paramagnetic Resonance spectroscopy, at room temperature 30 K. It was identified presence semiquinone radical all seed’s samples. Besides free resonance,...
