Using a Ni(dppf) catalyst generated in situ, Heck cross-coupling of aryl pivalates with variety olefin partners has been accomplished. This method represents one the first examples C–C via activation strong C–O bond nonorganometallic coupling partner. It enables transformation phenol-based substrates into styrenyl products without generation halogenated byproduct or use expensive triflate groups.

We have developed a lanthanide/B(C6F5)3-promoted hydroboration reduction of indoles and quinolines with pinacolborane (HBpin). This reaction provides streamlined access to range nitrogen-containing compounds in moderate excellent yields. Large-scale synthesis further transformations bioactive indicate that the method has potential practical applications. Preliminary mechanistic studies suggest amine additives promote formation indole-borane intermediates, proceeds via intermediates HBpin...

The aggregation-induced emission (AIE) mechanism of restriction double-bond rotation (RDBR) was utilized to design an excellent solid emitter and sensor for the first time. Thus, cis-tetraphenylethylene (TPE) macrocycle diammoniums were synthesized bound a DNA chain by its two ammonium arms. formed TPE dicycle at cis position restricted double bond in both ground excited states, resulting AIE enhancement, chiroptical performance sensing enhancement.

Supramolecular xerogel films as multicolor photoluminescent materials are ideal for applications in optical devices, such photochromic smart windows and LEDs. Therefore, a blue-fluorescence supramolecular hydrogel has been successfully constructed from α-CD benzimidazole derivatives (WCB) through host–guest interactions with assembly-induced emission (SAIE) properties. The WCB-α-CD enables the coordination different lanthanide metal ions (Ms) to form nanoparticles spherical-like morphology,...

Abstract Development of pure organic molecular materials with room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) and their applications for white emitters have received significant attentions recently. Herein, a D– π –A molecule (DMACPPY) which can realize emitting under ambient conditions both in the crystal state doped‐film by combining RTP two fluorescent emissions is reported. The emission from crystalline sample DMACPPY consists fluorescence S 2 (the second excited singlet state) 1 first along T...
