Dendrimers are increasingly being studied in the context of encapsulation. Many potential applications dendrimers based on their properties. They used drug delivery systems, cosmetics, food and chemistry. This review is first devoted to different synthesis approaches for ability encapsulate active molecules. Their fields, as well cytotoxicity, then detailed. To conclude this review, main works interaction with stratum corneum (SC) also presented.
A series of large glycodendrimers containing 27, 81, and 243 terminal modified xylose branches from the first (G(1)-27) to third generation (G(3)-243) were synthesized 2'-azidoethyl 2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl-beta-d-xylopyranoside alkynyl-terminated dendrimers by "click" chemistry that is confirmed be an excellent method obtain exemplified use xylose. The characterized (1)H NMR, (13)C{(1)H} elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy. size progression in was also demonstrated using both DOSY NMR exclusion...
Chiral ionic liquids (CILs) tetrabutylammonium-(S)-prolinate, tetrabutylammonium-(R)-prolinate and tetrabutylammonium trans-4-hydroxy-(S)-prolinate were investigated as chiral additives in the Pd-catalyzed enantioselective hydrogenation of α,β-unsaturated ketones. These CILs easily prepared one step from aminoacid hydroxide characterized (NMR, IR, optical rotation, elemental analysis, DSC, viscosity, decomposition temperature). The research strategy was to assess antimicrobial toxicity (>20...
Abstract Stimulation of plant innate immunity by natural and synthetic elicitors is a promising alternative to conventional pesticides for more sustainable agriculture. Sugar-based bolaamphiphiles are known their biocompatibility, biodegradability low toxicity. In this work, we show that Synthetic Rhamnolipid Bolaforms (SRBs) have been synthesized green chemistry trigger Arabidopsis immunity. Using structure-function analysis, demonstrate SRBs, depending on the acyl chain length,...
Abstract Conditions to achieve the palladium‐catalysed telomerization of butadiene with L ‐arabinose and D ‐xylose as telogens have been identified. With DMF solvent, optimised ratios substrate, reactants catalytic system allowed selective grafting one octadienyl chain onto anomeric hydroxy group. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2004)
Conditions have been developed to achieve the palladium catalysed telomerization of butadiene with L-arabinose and D-xylose in aqueous medium. The success reaction requires presence a tertiary amine as promoter catalytic system based on Pd–TPPTS. etherification first occurs anomeric hydroxyl and, depending used, second leads formation diether.
Abstract Air‐stable gold nanoparticles stabilized by glycodendrimers (AuDSNs) in water were prepared the presence of a reducing agent, NaBH 4 . A UV/Vis spectroscopy study demonstrates that no spontaneous reduction Au 3+ ions occurs glycodendrimers. The AuDSNs characterized and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). TEM images show very small (average diameter: 2.6 nm). catalytic activity these was evaluated for 4‐nitrophenol (4‐NP) to 4‐aminophenol (4‐AP) monitored spectroscopy. Studies...
Phosphonium-based ionic liquids with natural organic derived anions were easily prepared and showed good performance recyclability in Pd-catalyzed hydrogenation processes at room temperature under atmospheric H2 pressure.
3-Methyl-1-(propyloxycarbonylmethyl)imidazolium octylsulfate 1a and 3-methyl-1-(pentyloxycarbonylmethyl)imidazolium 2a are ionic liquids that have previously been shown to be readily biodegradable in the CO2 headspace test (ISO 14593). In present study, these were evaluated as reaction media for Diels–Alder hydrogenation reactions. The comparison of performance two designer solvents reactions with those conducted other, non-biodegradable has demonstrated they comparable viable solvents.
Natural and synthetic amphiphilic molecules including lipopeptides, lipopolysaccharides, glycolipids are able to induce defense mechanisms in plants. In the present work, perception of two C14 rhamnolipids, namely, Alk-RL Ac-RL, differing only at level lipid tail terminal group have been investigated using biological biophysical approaches. We showed that induces a stronger early signaling response tobacco cell suspensions than does Ac-RL. The interactions both RLs with simplified biomimetic...
Essential oils are used in an increasing number of applications including biopesticides. Their volatility minimizes the risk residue but can also be a constraint if release is rapid and uncontrolled. Solutions allowing encapsulation essential therefore strongly researched. In this study, was carried out within dendrimers to control their volatility. Indeed, spontaneous complexation occurs solution with which maintains it longer. Six parameters (temperature, stirring rate, relative...
