The BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine showed high efficacy in clinical trials but observational data from populations not included are needed. We describe immunogenicity 21 days post-dose 1 among 514 Israeli healthcare workers by age, ethnicity, sex and prior infection. Immunogenicity was similar ethnicity decreased with age. Those infection had antibody titres one magnitude order higher than naïve individuals regardless of the presence detectable IgG antibodies pre-vaccination.

Abstract The effectiveness of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines against the long-term COVID-19 symptoms expressed by a substantial proportion patients is not well understood. We determined whether vaccination with BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine was associated incidence reporting post-SARS-CoV-2 infection. invited individuals PCR-tested for SARS-CoV-2 infection at participating hospitals between March 2020 and November 2021 to fill an online questionnaire that included information about...

This suggests dose 2, currently offered those 1, may be required in these Larger studies should confirm whether need the second.
