Zielsetzung Die Chemotherapie-induzierte Polyneuropathie (CIPN) ist eine häufige Nebenwirkung taxanhaltiger Chemotherapien und bringt persistierende Einschränkungen der Lebensqualität mit sich (Ewertz et al., 2015; Jones 2015). Effektive präventive oder therapeutische Maßnahmen sind nicht bekannt. Erste kleinere Studien begründen die Hypothese, dass Kühlung bzw. Kompression Hände einen präventiven Effekt auf Entwicklung einer CIPN Nagelveränderungen haben könnten (Sato 2016; Tsuyuki Scotté 2005).
