The evolution of reconstructive surgery brachiocephalic arteries originates from the first operations in form vascular ligation to high-tech ones (carotid endarterectomy, carotid stenting, artery prosthetics, carotid-subclavian anastomosis, bypass surgery, etc.). Further, stages formation main methods surgical treatment these pathologies. Various...

Between late 1994 and early 2001 the Wind orbiter, generally targeted to stay in solar wind, passed through Earth's magnetosphere ∼50 times. About 450 distinct bow shock crossings were collected during inbound outbound bracketing each perigee. These corresponding vectorial upstream wind measurements by MFI SWE instruments are used study 3-D shape of its motion. Mapping Sun-Earth line terminator plane is realized using a recent analytical model planetary shock. The asymmetry terrestrial...

The location of the Martian magnetopause and that bow shock are studied on basis three‐dimensional solar wind proton spectra measured by TAUS spectrometer board Phobos 2 in its 56 circular orbits. clear strong dependence areomagnetopause position ram pressure was revealed, while practically independent this parameter. In power law expression telling magnetotail thickness D pressure: ∼(ϱυ²) −1/ k , index turned out to be ∼5.9±0.5. close coincidence with = 6 for a dipole geomagnetic field,...

A direct approach for determining the asymptotic MHD Mach cone is formulated and solved. An implicit analytical solution enables calculation of downstream slope cones at any clock angle arbitrary M s , a ϑ bv . The obtained includes all previously known symmetric cases. elongation shift fast mode shock cross-section are studied wide range upstream plasma parameters as well its unusual 'chopped' shape under certain conditions. Our results may be useful planetary modeling numerical codes verification.

The measurements of proton spectra obtained by the TAUS spectrometer on board Phobos 2 spacecraft in elliptical orbits near Mars are presented. A strong deceleration solar wind upstream Martian bow shock was revealed. It can be caused mass loading plasma flow ions originating from hot oxygen/hydrogen corona and/or protons specularly reflected shock. In first case about 100 km/s implies that oxygen could several times denser than it anticipated to (at least during observation period close...
