Anopheles mating is initiated by the swarming of males at dusk followed females flying into swarm. Here, we show that mosquito and are coordinately guided clock genes, light, temperature. Transcriptome analysis shows up-regulation genes period (per) timeless (tim) in head field-caught coluzzii males.
