The median arcuate ligament can compress the proximal portion of celiac artery causing symptoms chronic mesenteric ischemia. This rare condition typically affects young women and often poses a diagnostic challenge. Compression superior (SMA) in addition to represents an unusual variant syndrome (MALS). Acute pulmonary embolism is associated with a significant number of deaths each year, which are commonly attributed to deep venous thrombosis the lower extremity. Diabetes mellitus is a leading cause of renal failure in the US and has been associated with higher mortality when compared to nondiabetic patients. This remains true despite initiation replacement therapy.
