Adenomyoepithelioma is a rare tumor characterized by proliferation of two different cell populations. These tumors have variable biological behavior. Majority them are benign but tendency to recur locally. Malignant transformation in this disease and distant metastasis rarer still. We report here an unusual case bilateral adenomyoepithelioma at age showing remarkable response unconventional drug, tyrosine kinase inhibitor "imatinib".

Abstract Reactivation of remote hepatitis B infection (RHBI) is an important cause morbidity in hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) patients. We analyzed the prevalence RHBI 205 patients who underwent HCT our centre, serological events related to virus (HBV) reactivation and role lamivudine prophylaxis with RHBI. The was 14% (28/205 patients). Of these 28 patients, 15 received (14 anti‐HBcIgG positive 1 only anti‐HBs positive) while 13 did not receive (12 positive). None group developed HBV...

Cancer-associated anemia (CAA) remains a major unmet need that compromises overall survival (OS) and quality of life (QoL). Currently, available guidelines do not take into consideration the unique challenges in low- middle-income countries (LMIC). Our CAA patients have to battle preexisting impaired nutritional status, depleted body iron stores, financial limitations, difficulty having easily accessible affordable healthcare. Hence, we fulfilled for LMIC. A group subject experts were put...

Adenoviral infections are commonly described in pediatric transplant populations. However, much less information is available regarding the incidence of infection and clinical spectrum disease adult recipients. Moreover, this usually manifests as involvement transplanted organ one pathologic form or other, addition to other systemic manifestations. We present a case adenoviral nontransplanted solid recipient.

Abstract A multiparameter analysis of 706 cases acute leukemia (AL) over a two‐year period revealed only six (0·86 per cent) with coexpression lymphoid and myeloid phenotypes. In three cases, expression both markers by the majority blast cells suggested ‘biphenotypic’ pattern while in remaining phenotypes were seggregated into two morphologically distinct populations indicating ‘biclonal’ distribution. The poor response to anti‐acute lymphoblastic therapy five these underlines bad prognostic...

This leads unnecessary use and cost of antibiotics. Also timely treatment EF may prevent progression full blown engraftment syndrome (ES). We studied the role total leucocyte count (TLC) C-reactive protein (CRP) ratio differentiating IF. Methods: Consecutive patients with breakthrough (BF) d+7 d+15 auto HSCT, March...
