Abstract In this study, we used nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide (N-TiO 2 ) NPs in conjugation with visible light, and show that both reactive oxygen species (ROS) autophagy are induced by novel NP-based photodynamic therapy (PDT) system. While well-dispersed N-TiO (≤100 μg/ml) were inert, their photo-activation light led to ROS-mediated leukemia K562 cells normal peripheral lymphocytes, increased parallel increasing NP concentrations doses. At a constant energy (12 J/cm ), ROS levels trigger...

Designing suitable nano-carriers for simultaneous gene delivery and tracking is in the research priorities of molecular medicine. Non-toxic graphene quantum dots (GQDs) with two different (green red) emission colors are synthesized by Hummer's method characterized UV-Vis, Photoluminescence (PL), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Raman spectroscopies, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Electron (SEM) Transmission (TEM). The GQDs conjugated MPG-2H1 chimeric peptide plasmid DNA (pDNA)...

Inflammasomes are multiprotein complexes that represent critical elements of the inflammatory response. The dysregulation best-characterized complex, NLRP3 inflammasome, has been linked to pathogenesis diseases such as multiple sclerosis, type 2 diabetes mellitus, Alzheimer's disease, and cancer. While there exist molecular inhibitors specific for various components inflammasome complexes, no currently reported specifically target NLRP3PYD homo-oligomerization. In present study, we describe...

Most of the previously reported fluorescent organic probes for cancer cell and tumor imaging have significant limitations including chemical toxicity, structural instability, low Stokes shift value, inability selective accumulations in tumors during vivo imaging. To overcome mentioned challenges, we synthesized with protected polar functional groups to enhance non-toxicity nature increase selectivity toward tumors. In addition, rigidity was increased by embedding aromatic rings probe...

Objective(s): Graphene as two-dimensional (2D) materials have attracted wide attention in different fields such biomedical imaging. Ultra-small graphene nano-sheets (UGNSs) been designated low dimensional sheets with lateral dimensions less than few nanometres (≤ 500 nm) one, two or layers. Several studies proven that the process of acidic exfoliation and oxidation is one most effective methods to synthesize sheets. The band gap can be changed through changing reaction temperature resulting...
