Hydrochloric acid, a very inexpensive and readily available inorganic has been found to cooperate exquisitely with NaNO(2)/TEMPO in catalyzing the molecular-oxygen-driven oxidation of broad range alcohol substrates corresponding aldehydes ketones. This transition-metal-free catalytic oxidative conversion is novel represents an interesting alternative route carbonyl compounds metal-catalyzed aerobic alcohols. The reaction highly selective respect desired product when carried out at room...

Se-doped black phosphorus (BP) crystal, in centimeter scale, is synthesized by a scalable gas-phase growth method under mild conditions. The BP exhibits high quality with excellent electrical properties. Se dope induces over 20-fold enhancement of responsivity (R) for BP-based 2D photodetectors, resulting R and external quantum efficiency 15.33 A W-1 2993%, respectively.

Here, we report the recent progress on front end developed for 100 PW-class laser facility. Using 3 stages of optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification (OPCPA) based lithium triborate (LBO) crystals, realized a 5.26 J/0.1 Hz amplified output with bandwidth over 200 nm near center wavelength 925 nm. After compressor, obtained pulse duration 13.4 fs. As compression efficiency reached 67%, this OPCPA could potentially support peak power 263 TW at repetition rate 0.1 Hz. To best our...

Apoptosis, with a hallmark of upregulated protease Caspase-3, has been frequently imaged various probes to reveal the therapeutic efficiencies different drugs. However, activatable molecular programmable self-assembling behaviors that enable enhanced T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apoptosis remain scarce. Herein, taking advantage CBT-Cys click reaction, we rationally designed Caspase-3-activatable probe Ac-Asp-Glu-Val-Asp-Cys(StBu)-Lys(DOTA(Gd))-CBT (DEVDCS-Gd-CBT) for in vivo....

A comprehensive off-line two-dimensional liquid chromatography (2D-LC) method coupling hydrophilic interaction (HILIC) and reversed phase (RPLC) was developed in this study to detect as many saponins possible extracts of Panax notoginseng. The orthogonality the 2D HILIC × RPLC up 81%, peak capacity 10200. In total, 224 were found, some them trace amounts. Besides, a screening table designed by adding molecular weights aglycones sugars constructed help rapidly characterize using MS...

Abstract Starting from the chemical structure of botanical aphicides 1,5‐diphenyl‐1‐pentanone and 1,5‐diphenyl‐2‐penten‐1‐one, extracted Stellera chamaejasme L., authors designed synthesized a series novel compounds following concept bioisosterism. Their structures were established on basis 1 H NMR GC‐MS spectra, insecticidal activities evaluated against Aphis gossypii Glover. The results demonstrated that substitution heterocycle for phenyl ring was favourable. Thus, further modification...

Objective To investigate the anti-proliferative and pro-apoptotic effects of curcumin on diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) cells explore mechanism. Methods OCI-LY7 were treated with (2.5, 5, 10, 20, 40 μM) for 24, 48, or 72 hours. Cell viability apoptosis determined using 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay TdT-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling staining, respectively. MiR-28-5p expression was detected via qRT-PCR. The binding site miR-28-5p predicted...

Wolfram Syndrome (WS) is a fatal human inherited disease with symptoms of diabetes, vision decreasing, and neurodegeneration caused by mutations in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-resident protein WFS1. WFS1 has been reported to play an important role glucose metabolism. However, axonal regeneration central nervous system so far remained elusive. Herein, we established model wfs1b globally deficient zebrafish line. deficiency severely impeded Mauthner-cell (M-cell) axon regeneration, which...

Cytidine diphosphate diacylglycerol (CDP-DAG), an important intermediate for glycerolipid biosynthesis, is synthesized under the catalytic activity of CDP-DAG synthase (CDS) to produce anionic phosphoglycerolipids such as phosphatidylglycerol (PG) and cardiolipin (CL). Previous studies showed that Arabidopsis CDSs are encoded by a small gene family, termed CDS1-CDS5, members which integral membrane proteins in endoplasmic reticulum (ER) plastids. However, details on how provided...
