Abstract The corrosion behavior of environmental barrier coatings (EBCs) directly affects the service life and stability ceramic matrix composite (CMC) structural parts in aero-engines. silicon carbide (SiC) whisker toughening phase c-AlPO 4 bonding are firstly used to improve novel tri-layer Yb 2 Si O 7 /mullite/SiC EBCs burner rig test. formation penetrating cracks coating caused failure at 1673 K. SiC whiskers mullite middle significantly inhibited coating, efficiently prevented oxidation...
Magnesium (Mg) matrix composites (Mg-MMCs) with high strength and ductility properties are crucial for the development of lightweight automobiles. In this study, a novel method is proposed fabricating Mg-MMCs by incorporating nanocopper (Cu) decorated titanium (Ti) particles (Cu@Ti) to reinforce AZ91 alloys. The in-situ generation AlCuMg phase at interface between Ti Mg enhances integration promotes formation massive twins. 5.0 wt% Cu@Ti/AZ91 composite exhibits notable mechanical properties,...
We study the chaotic motion of a semi-classical optomechanical system coupled to non-Markovian environment with finite correlation time. By studying emergence chaos using Lyapunov exponent changing parameter, we show that can significantly enhance chaos. It is observed characterized by Ornstein-Uhlenbeck type noise modify generation different environmental memory times. As comparison, crossover properties from Markov regimes are also discussed. Our findings indicate quantum effects on onset...
Abstract Ytterbium silicate (Yb 2 Si O 7 ) and lanthanum zirconate (La Zr ceramic powders were synthesized by the sol–gel method. A novel tri‐layer La /Yb /SiC environmental barrier coating was prepared on surface of C/SiC composites to improve service temperature (above melting point, 1683 K). Results show that both Yb had extremely high purity accompanied a large number nanoparticles. The can efficiently prevent oxidation failure in 1773 K air environment for more than 100 h with slight...
Abstract Mullite coating, SiC whiskers toughened mullite coating (SiC w ‐mullite), and cristobalite aluminum phosphate ( c ‐AlPO 4 ) particle modified ‐mullite ‐SiC ‐mullite) were prepared on coated C/SiC composites using a novel sol‐gel method combined with air spraying. Results show that molten SiO 2 formed by the oxidation of improved bonding strength between outer SiC–C/SiC due to their high‐temperature properties. The mullite, ‐mullite, coatings 2.41, 4.31, 7.38 MPa, respectively. After...
