症例は55歳女性.上腹部不快感を伴う肝障害精査目的に受診し,CT検査にて,肝臓には明らかな腫瘤形成は認めなかったが,肝腫大とびまん性の不均一な濃度低下を認めた.血清CEA高値のため行った悪性腫瘍に対する全身検索にて,右の乳腺に2.5 cmの乳がんと腋窩リンパ節転移を認め,びまん浸潤型の肝転移を伴う乳がんと診断した.急速な肝予備能低下により腹水や脳症が出現し,急性肝不全亜急性型の経過を辿り永眠された.剖検にて,乳がんの肝転移による肝不全状態であったことを確認した.
