In response to the demand for real-time non-destructive detection of delamination defects in curved structure carbon fiber–reinforced polymer (CFRP), an anisotropic CFRP model was constructed based on laser thermal elastic effect, and generation propagation ultrasonic waves inside CFPR were analyzed. On this basis, orientation information defect is obtained by calculating time it takes transverse wave reach surface probe after encountering defect. When with size 1×0.2 mm located between...

Antibiotics are widely used for treatment of bacterial infections, and their overuse has contributed to microbial resistance. Currently, an alternative antibiotic-free therapy inactivating bacteria is great interest. Black phosphorus (BP), a biocompatible nontoxic rising-star two-dimensional layered material, gained remarkable interest in many bioapplications including biosensing, cancer therapy, drug delivery, also antibacterial treatment. However, BP nanosheets suffer from instability...

Background/Aims: Atherosclerosis is associated with dysfunction of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs). Tripterine, a chemical compound derived from the Chinese medicinal plant Tripterygium wilfordii Hook, displays anti-inflammatory properties in several animal models. We hypothesized that tripterine can improve EPC function and thus efficiency transplantation. Methods Results: Tripterine preconditioning (2.5 μM, 4 h) improved proliferation, tube formation, migration, adhesion, reduced...

We report on the coherent control of boosted ultrashort terahertz pulses emitted from air plasma pumped by a femtosecond sawtooth pulse composed three optical harmonic fields. With an inline setup, relative phases between components pump can be varied independently with attosecond precision without complexity external phase stabilization. observe that amplitude emission phase-optimized wave is enhanced 1.8 times compared to widely used two-color scheme. Moreover, manipulating colors at...

In this paper, we theoretically show that the field-free molecular orientation created by a single dual-color laser pulse can be significantly enhanced separating it into two time-delayed subpulses. It is indicated maximum enhancement of subpulses achieved with their intensity ratio about 1:2 and simultaneously applying second one at beginning rotational wave packet rephasing or end dephasing induced first one. also shown suppression coherently manipulated varying relative phase between...

Flexible and transparent anti-counterfeiting films have aroused great attention for their potential applications in information security assurance of product quality recently. Much has been focused on the crystalline structure matrix; however, studies amorphous alumina hosts are limited. Here, an doped with Eu3+ phosphor was successfully synthesized by a soft chemical route. Its evolution, morphology, photoluminescence features were analyzed.
