We compared the effect of lipid composition and particle size triglyceride-rich low density lipoprotein (LDL) upon apoprotein B conformation binding to LDL receptor. Three groups were studied: (a) isolated from chronic hypertriglyceridemic individuals (HTG-LDL); (b) normal made by in vitro incubation with triglyceride emulsion neutral transfer protein (R-LDL); (c) normolipidemic acutely intravenous infusion 10% Intralipid (IV-LDL). HTG-LDL was small dense, whereas R-LDL IV-LDL had size....
Trevesia Vis. species are small evergreen trees belonging to the family Araliaceae that occur naturally throughout Asia. The multiple parts of have been used in traditional medicinal systems several countries for their potential therapeutic properties, including pain relief, inflammation, fevers, microbial infections, diabetes, cancer, edema, bone fractures, and arthritis. This work presents a fascinating exploration previous studies on species, especially T. palmata , delving into...
Tin sulfide (SnS) is known for its effective gas-detecting ability at low temperatures. However, the development of a portable and flexible SnS sensor hindered by high resistance, response, long recovery time. Like other chalcogenides, electronic gas-sensing properties strongly depend on surface defects. Therefore, understanding effects defects key factor in developing low-temperature gas sensors. Herein, using thin films annealed different temperatures, we demonstrate that exhibits n-type...
Abstract This study presents a novel approach to synthesizing Au-decorated TiO 2 (Au/TiO ) nanoparticles (NP) using spin-coating method, showcasing significant advancements in photoanode development. The resulting Au/TiO NPs exhibit well-defined crystallite structures comprising Au and phases, featuring NP sizes ranging from 2.61 nm 6.10 nm. Notably, the energy bandgap of these demonstrates discernible redshift 3.22–3.02 eV across various concentrations (1%–20%). Photoluminescence spectra...
We report the spectral response characteristics of a dual–band infrared photodetector based on nBn photodiode configuration–with GaSb and InGaAsSb absorption layers ternary layer AlGaSb that serves as unipolar barrier in between—which has independent access to both sides. The resulting structure detection capability short-wavelength ranges, cut-off wavelength 1.6 μm (SWIR1; GaSb) 2.65 (SWIR2; InGaAsSb) depending applied bias. dual-band was evaluated by current–voltage (I–V) characteristics,...
We report on photoelectrochemical (PEC) characteristic of a few–layer MoS2–flakes deposited ZnO nanorod (MS–ZNR) configuration prepared via the hydrothermal and metal–organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) approach. The MS–ZNR nanostructure exhibited enhanced photoexcited electron-hole pair separation transfer for energy–storage/or conversion applications. Due to suppressing recombination mechanism charge carriers, PEC performance photoelectrode revealed higher photocurrent density (1.42...
