A metal organic framework (MOF), synthesized from cobalt salt, melamine (mela), and 1,4-dicarboxybezene (BDC), was used as precursor to prepare Co/CoNx/N-CNT/C electrocatalyst via heat treatment at different temperature (700-900 °C) under nitrogen atmosphere. Crystallites size microstrain in the 800 °C heat-treated sample (MOFs-800) were lowest, whereas stacking fault value highest among rest of homemade samples, attested by Williamson-Hall analysis, hence assessing that structural or/and...
Reactions in water between the sodium salt of benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylic acid (H4btec) and lanthanide ions (Sm–Dy) led to a series isostructural lanthanide-based coordination polymers with general chemical formula [Ln4(btec)3(H2O)12·20H2O]∞ Ln = Sm–Dy. The family has been structurally characterized. From luminescent point view, heterodinuclear strategy successfully applied allows significant brightness enhancement (+35%) color tuning from green yellow orange red.
ZnFe2O4 (ZFO) spinel magnetic nanoparticles with a small particle size (11.2 nm) and large specific surface area (54.1 m2/g) are synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method without the calcination process. ZFO-modified electrodes first utilized for simultaneous electrochemical trace detection of Hg(II), Pb(II), Cu(II), which show an outstanding linear response limit (LOD) is 1.61, 7.38, 12.03 nM, respectively. Meanwhile, exhibit excellent repeatability [relative standard deviation (RSD)...
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are considered potential electrocatalysts for efficient water splitting. However, the structure-activity relationship of most MOFs is not systematically analyzed electrocatalysis anodes and cathodes. In this paper, we provide a strategy to modulate electronic microstructure iron-based bimetallic (MFe-BDC (M: Mg, Zn, Cd)) grown on nickel foam (NF) as bifunctional oxygen evolution reaction (OER) hydrogen (HER). The optimal CdFe-BDC via modulating appropriate...
In this study, four metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) were prepared using a simple, low-cost, and high-efficiency technique utilizing simple carboxylic acids metal salts by microwave-assisted ball milling.
Interface modification is an effective and promising route for developing functional electrocatalysts. However, researchers have not created a reliable method to optimize the interfaces of components existing in electrocatalysts, although it very crucial technological development high-performance electrodes. Abstract Rare‐earth‐element (Y, Gd) modified Pt nanoparticles (NPs) supported on a carbon substrate (Vulcan XC‐72) are synthesized via water‐in‐oil chemical route. In both cases, X‐ray diffraction (XRD) measurements show the non‐formation of an alloyed material. Photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) results reveal that Y and Gd oxidized. Additionally, no evidence electronic modification can be brought to light. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies indicate Pt‐Y 2 O 3 Pt‐Gd particles...
