We investigated the ground-state wave function and free expansion of a trapped dipolar condensate. find that interaction may induce both biconcave dumbbell density profiles in pancake- cigar-shaped traps, respectively. In parameter plane strengths, oscillating profile harmonically condensate occurs only when parameters fall into certain isolated areas. The relation between positions these areas trap geometry is explored. When box potential used to confine condensate, spatial oscillation...

This is the second installment for Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fibre Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) Quasar Survey, which includes quasars observed from September 2013 to June 2015. There are 9024 confirmed in DR2 and 10911 DR3. After cross-match with SDSS quasar catalogs NED, 12126 discovered independently. Among them 2225 were released by DR12 QSO catalogue 2014 after we finalised survey candidates. 1801 sources identified DR14 as QSOs. The remaining 8100 considered newly founded, among...

Under the framework of semiclassical theory, we investigate equilibrium-state properties a spin polarized dipolar Fermi gas through full numerical calculation. We show that surfaces in both real and momentum spaces are stretched along attractive direction interaction. further verify deformed can be well approximated by ellipsoids. In addition, deformation parameters slightly depend on local real- momentum-space densities. also study interaction strength dependence energy By comparing them...

Taking into account the deformation of Fermi surface, we investigate spin-singlet and -triplet BCS pairings in a mixture fermionic polar molecules with two different hyperfine states. In particular, explore relation between critical temperatures Fock-exchange interaction. We also show that, by tuning short-range interaction interspecies molecules, singlet- triplet-paired superfluids may coexist.

Based on the semi-classical theory, we investigate thermodynamic properties of a dipolar Fermi gas. Through self-consistent procedure, numerically obtain phase space distribution function at finite temperature. We show that deformations in both momentum and real becomes smaller as one increases For homogeneous case, also calculate pressure, entropy, heat capacity. In particular, low temperature limit weak interaction regime, an analytic expression for which agrees qualitatively with our...

A UV curable ladder-like diphenylsiloxane-bridged methacryl-phenyl-siloxane (L-MPS) was synthesized from phenyltrichlorosilane, diphenylsilanediol and methacryloxypropyldimethylmethoxysilane via dehydrochlorination precoupling, supramolecular architecture-directed hydrolysis-condensation end-capping reactions. The L-MPS has a condensation degree of ∼100%, can be complete crosslinked by curing. XRD, TEM molecular simulation suggest that the molecules are close packed with periodic distance...

We propose to create vortices in spin-1 condensates via magnetic dipole-dipole interaction. Starting with a polarized condensate prepared under large axial field, we show that by gradually inverting the population transfer among different spin states can be realized controlled manner. Under optimal condition, generate doubly quantized vortex state containing nearly all atoms condensate. The resulting is direct manifestation of interaction and textures spinor condensates. also point out whole...

For the large-scale fractured-vuggy reservoir with bottom water, based on elasticity theory and flow in porous media theory, a physical model of different volume water is established. According to theoretical analysis, relationship equation cumulative production pressure drop deduced, feature influencing factor curve are analyzed. Then, using modeling experimental method, validity analysis verified. The results show that has straight-line at first, late upturned, finally again. segment...
