Purpose This study aims to identify the structural relationship among social capital, knowledge sharing, innovation and performance of small- medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a tourism cluster. Design/methodology/approach A total 199 valid questionnaires are collected from SMEs Bomun cluster South Korea. equation modeling approach is used test research hypotheses. Findings The findings suggest that capital constructs, including network density relational cognitive all positively influence...
A retrospective evaluation of 28 patients with recurrent lumbar disc herniation. To analyze the outcome revisions (repeat discectomy), risk factors herniation, and that influenced outcomes repeat discectomy.Recurrent herniation following excision has been reported in 5-11% patients. There have many studies on but these analyzed mixed patient populations.Recurrent was defined as at same level, regardless ipsilateral or contralateral a pain-free interval greater than 6 months. Eight women 20...
This empirical study uses nudge theory to develop conceptual models predict the pro-sustainable behaviors of visitors. Two sets antecedents, including destination level (i.e. social responsibility [DSR]) and individual (climate change perception), were used as configurations stimulate behavioral intentions visitors in terms willingness sacrifice, eco-behaviors, localism. The proposed tested using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) investigate net effect antecedents...
Prospective study of 34 patients with thoracolumbar spinal fractures. To assess the reliability magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for posterior ligament complex injury in fractures. Some researchers have studied fracture using MRI. However, most did not evaluate findings MRI compared operative findings.Thirty-four were evaluated by palpation interspinous gap, plain radiography, and before operation. In addition to conventional sequences, a fat-suppressed T2-weighted sagittal sequence was...
ABSTRACT The continual high turnover rate in the tourism and hospitality industry is most problematic managerial topic. Using a sample of 304 travel agency employees, this research aims to identify differences antecedents between newcomers from graduate school or other industries same industry. results suggest several both newcomer groups. Supervisor support an antecedent for veterans, whereas personnel management, prospects job‐related factors are only significant neophytes. External causes...
This study investigates the relationship among tourism, poverty, and economic development in developing countries. The empirical model is set up using unbalanced panel observations for 69 countries period 1995–2012. findings show that tourism has heterogeneous effects on poverty ratio terms of a country’s income per capita: positive effect alleviation switches to being negative after certain threshold level. results this indicate only least developed (those with an capita below international...
Study Design The shape and size of the pedicles human spine differs within different races. authors studied diameters angles pedicle from T1 to Ls levels in Koreans. following measurements were made 1) transverse diameter, 2) superoinferior 3) anteroposterior angle, 4) horizontal 5) axis angle. Objectives This study obtained indices morphology Koreans use transpedicular screw fixation explain difference between other reces Summary Background Data Internal fixators for vertebrae have been...
Objectives The purposes of this study were to evaluate the nature paraspinal soft tissue mass and location lesion involved using magnetic resonance imaging correlate these observations with surgical findings. Summary Background Data In past, tuberculous spondylitis was diagnosed by plain radiography since 1970s, computed tomography has been a useful method for assessing spondylitis. contrast most methods, MRI advantages improved resolution bone tissues versatility direct in multiple planes....
Superabsorbent hydrogels used in products like diapers, hygiene items, and medical patches depend on their swelling ratio. However, improving the performance across hydrogel assemblies remains challenging. This study identifies a decline water absorption capacity with high ratios, as confirmed through MRI analysis, introduces solution using branched crosslinker to address this issue. The was synthesized by grafting acrylate groups onto poly(aspartic acid)s. acid) incorporated into same...
Using a large-scale visitors' survey data, this study empirically investigates the question of who is tourist from tourist's perspective, and contrasts findings with elements more formal definitions. contributes to literature on tourism definition measurement by demon strating how tripographic socioeconomic factors affect propensity self-categorize as tourists. results point clear distance threshold around 75 miles provide support for technical approach tourism. First-time visitors, visitors...
Study Design The anatomic dimensions of the vertebral body and spinal canal lumbar spine were analyzed in Koreans. Objectives To determine normal dimension Koreans, to whether there are any racial differences morphometry canal, provide criteria for diagnosing stenosis Far Eastern Asian. Summary Background Data Some radiologic studies have been conducted regarding size whites blacks western African countries. Methods One-thousand-eight-hundred measurements performed on transverse sagittal...
HL7 (Health Level 7) is a standard developed for exchanging incompatible healthcare information generated from programs or devices among heterogenous medical systems. At present, growing as global standard. However, the does not support effective methods treating data various sensors, especially mobile sensors. As ubiquitous systems are growing, must communicate with transducers. In area of sensor fields, IEEE 1451 group standards controlling transducers and communicating from/to this paper,...
Sound policies and efficient managerial decisions in a wide range of touristic endeavors rely on accurate forecasts, but despite decades extensive research hundreds published studies the topic, neither single model nor category forecasting models have proven to be superior. This meta-analysis nearly 2,000 tourism forecasts provides strong evidence that data characteristics are associated with forecast accuracy, this relationship varies across different categories methods. The findings...
A measure of skewness and kurtosis is proposed to test multivariate normality. It based on an empirical standardization using the scaled residuals observations. First, we consider statistics that take or for each coordinate residuals. The null distributions converge very slowly asymptotic distributions; therefore, apply a transformation univariate normality coordinate. Size power are investigated through simulation; consequently, from transformed ones quite well approximated distributions....
The Dure community is a traditional meeting and collaborative effort for solving tasks issues in rural farming villages Korea. Recently, the South Korean government has tried to revitalize communities develop tourism businesses local provinces. Tour projects aimed at revitalizing promoting sustainable economic development have been operating since 2013. producers, as change agents, play critical role projects. purpose of this study reveal producers’ roles realizing community-based (CBT)....
