Organelle heterogeneity and inter-organelle contacts within a single cell contribute to the limited sensitivity of current organelle separation techniques, thus hindering subpopulation characterization. Here, we use direct insulator-based dielectrophoresis (DC-iDEP) as an unbiased method demonstrate its capability by identifying distinct distribution patterns insulin vesicles from INS-1E insulinoma cells. A multiple voltage DC-iDEP strategy with increased range has been applied,...

Three asymmetric diosmium(I) carbonyl sawhorse complexes have been prepared by microwave heating. One of these is the type Os 2 (μ-O C R )(μ-O ′)(CO) 4 L , with two different bridging carboxylate ligands, while other are ) (CO) 5 one axial CO ligand and phosphane ligand. The mixed complex (μ-acetate)(μ-propionate)(CO) [P( p -tolyl) 3 ] ( 1 ), was heating 12 a mixture acetic propionic acids, isolating 6 then replacing ligands ligands. This first example an bridges. syntheses (μ-acetate) ],...

Three complexes containing diosmium(I) sawhorse units have been synthesized by reactions of 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf) with [Os2(µ-acetate)2(CO)6], [Os2(µ-acetate)2(CO)4(κ1-dppf)2] (1), [(µ-dppf){Os2(µ-acetate)2(CO)4(κ1-dppf)}2] (2), and [(µ-dppf)3{Os2(µ-acetate)2(CO)4}3] (3). In all three cases, the axial CO ligands diosmium starting material were replaced dppf ligands. Both 1 2 contain two monodentate each molecule 2, there is also one bidentate ligand that serves as a...

The mechanism for the CO substitution reaction involving diosmium carbonyl sawhorse complex Os2(μ-O2CH)2(CO)6, which contains an Os-Os single bond, two axial ligands, and four equatorial was investigated experimentally theoretically. Kinetic measurements show 13CO proceeding by a dissociative that is first-order in zero-order but with unexpectedly negative entropy of activation. corresponding electronic structure calculations yield enthalpy activation dissociation much larger than determined...

In the title complex C 34 H 20 O 6 Os 2 or (μ-η 4 -C Ph )Os (CO) , one atom is part of a metallacyclopentadiene ring, while second π-bonded to organic portion this ring. The distance 2.7494 (2) Å between two atoms typical an Os—Os single bond. Three carbonyl ligands are attached each and these six carbonyls adopt eclipsed conformation. There no bridging semibridging CO groups. Two all four phenyl groups disordered over slightly different positions for which in minor components displaced less...

The title complex, [Os 3 (C 2 H 4 N)H(CO) 10 ] or (CO) (μ-H)(μ-HN=C—CH -1κ N :2κ C )], was synthesized in 41.6% yield by reactions between Os 11 (CH CN) and 2,4,6-trimethylhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine. central osmium triangle has two I atoms bridged a hydride ligand μ-HN= C—CH triazine fragment. Three CO ligands complete the coordination sphere around each atom, while remaining 0 atom four ligands. Each exhibits pseudo-octahedral environment, discounting bridging Os—Os bond.
